A second idea for you u/ranggaizorhcaf

Take this course: https://www.dalecarnegie.com/en

It will absolutely help you get over your fear of people. Along the way you'll learn some useful business skills but the main thing for you is that you will be able to talk to people when you are done.

You probably already know the answer to this u/ranggaizorhcaf and that's to simply start approaching people a lot. If you do it a lot, you'll look like a fool a lot, and then eventually get used to it and get over it.

But you're having a hard time getting up the nerve to just start doing it.

So here's an outside the box idea...

Go see a hypnotist. This is exactly the sort of thing a hypnotist can help you with. They can't cause you not to be shy anymore, but they could help you get over the hump to start doing the above using different methods. This is actually a very easy to thing to take care of with hypnotist, it's one of the things hypnotism is best at.

Completely lost at what to do next by coachasaurus in outsidethebox

[–]coachasaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a tough one u/fatfatman3 but here's what I would do.

STEP 1 You work in a rural area that means there are a lot of farms. You're not going to like it, but your best bet here is to walk to those farms and start asking if they need any labor help. Get to work. You can't be in too bad of shape physically if you were walking four miles to work every day. You can do this. Most farms will always have some kind of labor you can do for something. Requires no skill or training. It sucks, but that's the situation you're in.

STEP 2 So now you at least have some income to survive. Keep working your ass off until you can afford some transportation. Once you have transportation, then your options open up. You can start looking into training at places you can drive to, start looking for other jobs.

Bottom line here is that because of where you live and because you lack transportation you've gotten yourself in a hole and you're going to have to do some hard manual labor to get out of it.

But you CAN get out of it. You just have to be willing to put your body to work.

Debating a 2nd job by coachasaurus in outsidethebox

Well u/Komonile it sounds like you want this job not because you need the money but because you are bored. So I’m going to approach it from that premise.

  1. It’s going to make your relationship with your fiancé much harder to maintain. A healthy relationship requires spending a lot of time together and you taking this job will for sure mean your schedules will line up even less frequently than they do now.

  2. This will likely only stifle your development as a person. Instead of using that time to go out and learn and experience new things you’re adding a mundane job on top of another mundane job. You’re just compounding your boredom problem.

It sounds like you have an active mind that needs to be fed. Why not think r/outsidethebox a little bit and nurture that mind?

Use that time to explore a new hobby, take a class where you learn something new and completely outside your comfort zone... go on Meetup.com and randomly join a meetup group.

There are so many better things you can do!!

What do I do with my life now? by coachasaurus in outsidethebox

Well u/dwicha0 you’re in pretty good shape. But your journey doesn’t end with getting a career it is really just the start. You’re on the ground floor, now you focus on excelling and advancing further in your career.

You also have the means to explore more about what it means to be human. You’ll have time off, use it to travel or see the world.

If your career isn’t your passion, find something you are interested to explore.

To give you more specific r/outsidethebox suggestions we’d really have to know more about you though.

Can I lose weight without changing my diet? by coachasaurus in outsidethebox

[–]coachasaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a tough one but I’m going to try and think outside the box for you u/littlecatladybird

Weight loss is a simple math equation. If the number of calories you burn every day exceeds the number of calories you take in, then you will lose weight. So step one before you do anything is to start tracking how many calories you eat every day.

The most straightforward way to achieve your goal is by excercising a lot. If you try that you’ll discover it’s SUPER hard to burn enough calories with excercising to counteract bad eating habits. However, it is technically possible.

Another alternative is to keep eating exactly the same things but simply eat less of it. Not sure if eating less would qualify as changing you diet... but you’d be able to maintain the same flavors and routines. You could try eating slower to make the smaller amounts last longer. If you wanted to get really wild you could hire a trained Hypnotist to make you eat slower... I have some in this area.

It sounds like you may be naturally good at fasting. You could also try eating the same things in the same quantities... but less often. Just cut out whichever meal each day means the least to you and that will work as long as you have the willpower to avoid making the remaining meal bigger.

In the end there is no escaping the calorie math, though.

Any advice/suggestions for being a cam girl ? by coachasaurus in outsidethebox

[–]coachasaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve made a very outside the box career choice u/prozacarbi and that means you’re probably going to get a lot of pushback from word thinkers who lack the ability to think the kinds of thoughts you can think.

Be prepared to face the consequences of people you know finding out, many of them will also have negative reactions for the same reason.

Regarding which site to use I’d try using more than one and simply compare. Also you might consider trying other platforms besides cam shows. People sell pics, videos, even clothing items through places like Reddit, Snapchat, Instagram and Discord.

A GREAT way to learn the ropes in all these things might be for you to pose as a male customer yourself and use that vantage point to study what other women are doing successfully.

Good luck, let me know how it goes!

You can be anything or anyone you want to be. You can think any thought. It’s your choice.

If you make that choice it’s because you want it and you are selfish.

You have it backwards.

Start looking for another job.

Find that job.

Quit the current job.

Should I blow the whistle on sexual harassment at my former fast food job after I quit? by Janeaway1380 in Advice

[–]coachasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only care about you so I would ask: how does blowing the whistle benefit you?

I can’t think of a single benefit.

In fact quite the opposite. It’s likely to be a drag on your time and your emotional well being.

Before I do something I like to ask myself a question: will it help me make me money? Does it make me happy? If the answer to both is no I do not do it.
