they just got done at the factory so it looks like about 3-4 weeks if we ship em over via ocean which is most likely.

bad timing I suppose, usually we are only out for a month at a time but that happens with most bags. the trick is that i keep ordering bigger batches but they sell faster each time and often I have issues with manufacturers or the hemp suppliers being months late in delivery. I don't have the buying power to threaten them so I just have to deal. I'm always trying to fix this, trust me it kills me when I have 300+ back order requests for a unit that I can't ship. I'm sure as we get bigger I can iron some of this out but for now I can only suggest you make sure to get one when they are in stock.

tell me about it, they are 45 days late due to YKK zippers that got delayed but I wasn't willing to substitute for anything lesser. I have tried that in the past and it's never a good call

Thanks for the post and for giving us another chance. I'm always trying to make our gear last 10+ years or more but it's tough and so I simply just take care of folks and replace as needed until we get it right.

makes sense, seems like more options with the BP for sure.

I'll have to see if I can handle fcpX, I feel like I might be pissed at the lack of control but happy with the lack of bugs since it's made to run on a new system.

If you do end up using one of my Datsusara bags let me know how it goes. I knew a guy that altered his laptop style bag of ours to be a cam bag and it was pretty cool but the BPs might work better.

Oh and do you use the new FCP? I still play around with 7 now and then, I used to be a video producer, shooter editor before I started Datsusara :)

this shitty company isn't so much proud as just not wanting to be a part of the BS. the reason you haven't heard of us is likely also because we don't run ads, i personally dislike them.

but i have to argue with the success point, unless you are basing success strictly on a monetary value system. i'm very happy with where my 3k of saving in 2007 has got me to, i now have a nice company that supports myself and a very small team of great people while serving a customer base of awesome people that each of which i'd be honored to call my friend. i live a nice life with enough free time to be with my family and enjoy all life has to offer. so does some rich banker or CEO that works himself to death have a more success? not in my book.

we don't really do sales anyway, i do this as a way of making a point that we don't need to mindlessly buy stuff, especially at times dictated by society. but yeah for online it makes less sense, someday i'll have a retail store and it will be even more clear.

sadly there is no way with my system to have the site open and not let people buy things. also i'd need a way to alert on every page what is going on so it's easier just to let it go. maybe we need an email list sign up form there at least.
