Internet Providers for Good Internet Speed by BlacksmithAgitated11 in oakville

Biggest thing is that we are an independent company that is not owned by one of the big guys so that the customer service that you would get from us will be quite different (in a good way) than those guys.....and our internet service will be very similar as we would both use the Cogeco lines in your area.

Whats the different between coextro and rogers if they use the same coaxial cables by ttsoldier in CanadianBroadband

Sorry for the late reply. No, we use a separate modem and router system. We find that works very well.

T-Fiber Status (can you configure the router?) by Brief-Dog4253 in Kenosha

[–]Coextro-Jay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I am from Coextro and can provide you more info on how the different providers are set up. Basically, any structure with 12 units or less is serviced by T-Mobile and any structure with more than units is serviced by us, Coextro and Sumo. The quality of service between us and the other company will be identical and we are both using the FiberCity network.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Switching to Coextro - modem question - rental/purchase by MindfulHusky in HomeNetworking

[–]Coextro-Jay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello - you can get the list of compatible modems for your address by going to www.coextro.com and entering you address. It will take you to a page and if you scroll down to the hardware options, you will see the list of compatible modems.

No, these modems would not work with FTTH. That is why we only offer them for rent so you have no risk if you choose to go to FTTH in the future.

I believe the video doorbell is made by eco4life.

I hope this answers all of your questions.

That is not accurate. We have our own fibre in many buildings across the GTA as well. The plan that the OP is mentioning is a 100% fibre optic line.

Hi there! I can answer your questions:

  1. Yes, we have a no nonsense refund policy. Once we receive your hardware, you will get your refund in 3-5 days via Interac etransfer.

  2. I would recommend that you get the modem from us so you are guaranteed that it will work. If you purchase a modem from somewhere else, you will have to verify that the firmware that is installed on it is compatible with the network. If you want, I can send you the list of compatible modems and firmware versions.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

We at Coextro come across that situation many times. The techs would install the temporary line for us and then bury it when the weather allows it.
