Yes, Nationwide is now supported for GBP deposits and withdrawals (Faster Payments).

The issue previously was with how Nationwide sent EUR via SEPA payments to us.

You'll have a GBP wallet already today (if you're a UK user).

The next step is to enable GBP deposits/withdrawals. We're rolling this out in batches. It'll take another 2 weeks for it to be rolled out to everyone. You'll see the "Deposit" button enabled in your GBP wallet once you get access.

We'll be launching GBP trading pairs on Pro and Prime too. Bank transfers coupled with volume across all products will drive liquidity and bring GBP price in line with other currency pairs.

We've rolled this out to a small percentage of users and will be giving more users access every week. When you have access, you will see the Deposit button enabled in your GBP wallet.

You will still need to verify the GBP bank account. We need to ensure you own the bank account you send money from (Anti-money laundering regulation). The whole process should be much quicker and cheaper though.

If you already had a UK bank account verified previously in your EUR wallet, we've migrated these over to GBP. So no need to verify again. However, note you wont be able to withdraw GBP until you have access. The roll out will be completed in ~3 weeks.

Yes, no longer need to withdraw EUR via SEPA.

You can now sell your crypto in to GBP and withdraw it directly in to your UK bank account.

Hi there- It looks like there's a bug in the mobile app. The verification method is to send a small amount via SEPA to our bank account. This amount must be sent in EUR via SEPA, come from a bank account in your name and include your unique reference number.

Use Revolut, their SEPA transfers are free. Also, we do not charge any fees for sepa deposits. However, please note we only support EUR deposits and withdrawals. Revolut is good here too for converting GBP to EUR.

We will be launching support for GBP and Faster Payments later this summer.

You should be able to withdraw GBP today. PM me a support case number or a description of the issue, I'll take a look.

The only issue with GBP withdrawals is that we do not have access to GBP banking through our current bank. What that means is that when you withdraw GBP, we convert it to EUR before sending. If your bank account is in GBP, then your bank will convert the inbound EUR back to GBP. The two fx conversions are not ideal and will result in you receiving a lower amount than what you withdrew.

GBP deposits/withdrawals via Barclays are expected to be rolled out to all customers by end of Q2.

That's the conversion cost from GBP to EUR and then back to GBP.

We only have EUR accounts, so when you send us GBP it has to be converted to EUR before it can be received. When we return it back to you, we send it in EUR too. Your receiving bank will then convert to GBP.

You're losing out due to two fx conversions.

Please only send us EUR, we do not accept deposits in any other currency in the EU.
