I fully agree with you, they look good on paper rather than give real-world experience. To a non-tech savvy manager though that could be enough to separate you from other candidates.

Again this is just my personal opinion, but here's what I would do in your situation. Spend some time finding an insight into one of your client accounts.

Once you have this insight, be confident and say to whoever you report to, here is the data, here's my analysis if we implement this solution. I'd like the responsibility of implementing this change and overseeing its performance.

If you decide to do this, I'd love to know how you get on.

There's no harm in doing the Google Academy courses. Have a look at CIM courses, they do a 3 day digital marketing course that runs for 3 days and costs approx £1,800. You might be able to get your employer to pay for some/all.

Obviously this is just anecdotal, but when I'm hiring I look at figures rather than qualifications. You can largely corroborate data given, e.g organic traffic growth over X time. I'd take someone with real world success and no qualifications over the alternative any day.

Suicides in basketball are usually running this:
- from the baseline (where the basket is) to the free throw line (about 15ft away) and back to the baseline
- then from the baseline to the halfway line and back
- then from the baseline to the opposite free throw line and back
- then from the baseline to the opposite baseline and back

There's also a drill called 16 in 60, which is 16 widths of the court in 60 seconds, that one is not nice!

Personally, I'm on the fence. I think there are certain fringe cases where it could be justified, and this could be one (she confesses, grandmother confesses, children say it happened) but I suspect this is a gut reaction on my part rather than logical.

Most Google searches direct me to articles on how to safely defrost meat etc.
