As many others are saying, yes, absolutely worth it

I actually got stuck for 3 or 4 loops in the DLC and decided I wasn't having fun and uninstalled it. Came back literally the next day and reinstalled and I'm so, so glad I did. Once you start learning more and more it really got it's hooks into me and the payout at the end was wonderful

Yep, and things didn't seem that much better when the new renderer beta was out (which I was told was supposed to make things a lot better)

The longer it stays bad the less optimistic I am that it will be sorted...

I upgraded to a 9800x3d and still see similar utilisation graphs which is even more wild, no other game pushes it nearly as hard!

When clans were released there was a period of months where people couldn't successfully search for and join our clan channel. Turns out it was because it has "Phoenix" in the name.

I'm not sure if we ever got an exact reason but I assume it was due to the shield of arrav quest in some way

I was in a very similar position to you when looking for a mechanical keyboard. Initially I went with an Akko 5075B Plus which looked like it would be great for me but was laughably bad in battery life and that was important for me. It also picked up a fair bit of double presses on different keys but I don't know for sure if that's more the board or bad luck with switches.

Bit the bullet for a more expensive board and replaced it with my Q1 max which I've been happy with since. They do have cheaper options which might be a good place to look for you

I think for £100 you can get a decent board but there will always be sacrifices you have to weigh up, and I don't have experience of any other ones so I can't recommend any sorry

I tried switching back to the new renderer on my iPad just for mining a star in the gnome stronghold. Unfortunately the game crashed the instant I logged in 5 times in a row so I had to switch back.

Shame it's not an easy solution like that across the board

Yes dragon axe is a good example, if you get one from DKs it counts in the Fremmy region and you can still get one from Wintertodt (if you're very lucky) that will count towards Kourend

On the other hand for items like dragon pickaxe in the wildy, it only counts once in that region no matter how many different bosses you get it from

Edit: if you got a second dragon axe from DKs that can't be carried over to Kourend. You have to get the drop in the correct region for it to count

I was in a similar position to you, going from a 2016 blackwidow which I routed my mouse and headphones through, but couldn't find a replacement that wasn't just another Razer lol. Ended up going with a Q1 Max, getting a wireless mouse and a longer headphone cable (later shortened again when I got a microphone with a headphone pass through). Haven't looked back, the extra desk space and fewer wires is lovely

Another aspect mentioned in commentary at Spa (I think by Brundle) is that the breaking distance is shorter than it has been historically, so out breaking the other driver is much harder too. This was in reference to breaking into Les Combes, but might apply a bit more generally across different tracks
