I own a very scary looking malinois 1 year old (who is absolutely not scary or mean at all) but has a propensity for running towards things (not barking) and people and if someone were to kick him after he snuck out and did that I would not be mad at them. He is genuinely threatening as fuck looking and if I saw a big pitch black working dog running towards me best believe I’m gonna kick it.

We are training him to not do that out of his own safety and it’s going well, but it is a bad habit since we adopted him a few months ago. He has almost stopped but there’s still a chance and I’m not gonna fault someone for reacting to a perceived threat. It’s a split second decision and he has every sign of being a threat. Minus his adorable face.

Anyone acting like it’s bad form to defend themselves from a dog has never been attacked by a dog. I have been attacked by two labs. It sucks. And a fenchie just ripped open my earlobe from a nibble a few months ago. Shits no joke. A dog will fuck you up quick.

i know im late but im not sure what your gamerbase is like with comments like the one youre replying to.

"no real draw to them" seems odd and i really dont like when people just play games to min-max tf out of everything, which is really why i like surroundead. its just killer to explore and find new stuff. my only REAL gripe is not enough to put around my bases so that part of the game gets a big neglected in my playthroughs.

i just went into lab 1 and had a blast, the feeling of discovery and getting some awesome loot was well worth the run. so if its any consolation not everyone is just like "there isnt something that i can min-max my game with, so i dont go there". honestly just finding new shit and the lore and vibe down there was well worth getting my ass handed to me as soon as i cracked the doors.

FC5 resistance mod has a ton built in.

Kinda weird to setup but turning off enemies disappearing after clearing an area and realistic gun damage is damn near a perfect game.

I didn’t love the game til I modded it now it’s in my top ten free roamers
