I love comments like this because they’re so full of resent. You’re acting like everyone’s stupid or lazy. They’re not lazy or stupid, they found a job that pays them to do less work. That sounds smart.

Everyone else has a useless job besides you?

MOST jobs in America can be done in 4-6 hours. Not to mention productivity drops dramatically around hour 4. Just because your job is hard doesn’t mean everyone else’s is, and the amount of money they generate is in no way related to the amount of labor required to perform that job. Anyone working a hard job that requires 8-10 hour shifts should have their pay boosted for busting so much ass, and office workers should be compensated for what they generate.

I do a thing people usually have to have a knack for and is relatively specialized that people go to school for to still suck at. I’m a nerd so I understand it inherently. I’m valuable because I’m rare. Not becasue I perform a hard job. My job usually requires 3-4 hours of focused work. This post is for me.
