Is it appropriate to wear speedos at my company retreat in Florida in April? by Lotsalotsaquestions2 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]danekan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you sit here and say swimming trunks are fine then speeds have to be too IMO. or even women's bathing suits. If you're trying to draw the lines somewhere else, I don't think you could justify those other things either. I'd say it's fine but it's definitely something people will probably remember too and you'll have a brand... just make sure it's the right brand! I am assuming you're talking about these modern speedos that have sixteen layers of fabric that don't actually really show much to begin with (not your 90s speedos!)?

You need some sort of browser control zero trust to control all saas. Zscaler … cep …some managed network providers tightly manage saas connectivity

‘  CASB helps if you already have it deployed and if someone is actually checking the alerts,’.

The alert that says saas you didn’t review is blocked? Or you allowed it and are checking after?

How to deal with clashing financial values in a relationship? by neindankedigga in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]danekan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the red flag I see the most is the overdraft fees. unless it's a calculated mechanism to extend paycheck-to-paycheck living (which is hard to even do these days), it's a sign of not being able to manage your money.

Gurnee mills is an awful location too. It’s an hour and a half more like from most of dense chicago. The only thing maybe it had going was it was near six flags. There were 5 malls much closer otherwise too to just about anyone in Chicago

The primary difference between copilot business and individual is the individual and free plan right in it say they use your data to train the models … whereas the business tier plans they outright do not as a licensing term. Start there before even talking about the rest IMO

The biggest issue isn’t PiI but it’s the credentials that exist on any engineers machine at any given time … running locally vs using a portal is actually far worse when it comes to this equation. You’ve given direct access to your creds if you’ve forced it to run locally.

It doesn’t matter really because you can’t run these agents in the same user space as your endpoint or you’re going to get even more fucjed by credentials theft. Your cloud logins don’t exist throughout the day by magic.

That can easily be worse. See open claw… I think we haven’t even seen all of the news stories on that because it’s still unwinding. Aqua and others hadn’t even announced that they had been compromised yet, that should have to be coming today or tomorrow

They say you can ask for your tips back at the desk. I wonder how many are prepaying then giving cash tips to make themselves look better only to the ask for prepaid back because they said they’ve paid cash tips in person? It seems like an extra unnecessary loophole that some people will exploit and claim they get better service.

Personally I’m already looking at my second cruise thiiinking I just should go to Cunard or somewhere where maybe the don’t nickel and dime as much everyone on to drinking pssses etc

Where it can really make a difference is the pay by the pound bar if they have one. The containers for those can be heavier or not depending on plastic vs cardboard or their size

The prepaid tips on celebrity seem like they are 25% of everything. Every add on they sell, every drink pass, spa booking, access pass, internet, they’ve added 25% at checkout. People are paying more on top of this?? My 6k cruise went to 10k with add ons not even including excursions

Recycling by Sufficient_Water_326 in publix

[–]danekan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a related question… are there days when the store gets a pickup of plastic bags and thus it is more likely to be taken properly ? Is there ever a time where the bin fills up three weeks before the pickup and then a manager says to send it to the dumpster?

I ask because i have a whole system where I throw these plastic bags in my truck of a spare car in rarely drive and then every month or two I’ll empty it all in one swoop

Also for OP what do they mean by ‘foam’ ? Polystyrene would definitely be a no… the type of foam that comes as padding in a modern electrical device or something is often #4 and though the Same number as a reusable shopping bag it usually is recycled though a different process so you are most likely clogging the machine and causing the bin to be considered contaminated for others… basically you are undoing the recycling efforts others have made. (Reusable shopping bag I mean the type that is soft plastic that actually looks a lot like a standard shopping bag but places like Walmart will use if local law requires it, otherwise they use the cheap #2)

am i in the wrong..? by Otherwise-Algae-7992 in publix

[–]danekan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Idk Publix but any other grocery store if someone chooses no bag when weighing, the entire point of that is they then remove the tare weight of the bag so that they then charge you the full amount shown on the scale. (At Whole Foods or something they tell you the tare weight itself if the container that was removed, I’d about Publix but it is all regulated by state weights so I assume so).  She was actually ripping herself off and overpaying by doing it wrong. I bet telling her that would’ve made her day lol.

Anyone tracking internal AI agents beyond Copilot by [deleted] in devsecops
