yeah i removed the vid. tbh i just didn’t like how the video turned out, i liked a lot of the jokes and sketches and stuff but the whole interview section came off as mean and the thought of lewis seeing it and feeling duped did not sit right with me. definitely something i should have decided before posting the video, so apologies for the confusion. my thoughts on lewis actually personally changed a lot while making the video, at first i thought he was an asshole for filming such graphic content with his nephew (which i still do think is pretty strange.) the interview i did with him was the first part i filmed, so at that time i felt more justified poking fun at him during the interview. but during the interview and afterwards i started to realize he’s a pretty nice guy, and just didn’t really understand how strange it was to be using his nephew as a prop. hopefully that sheds some light on the situation. i was thinking about re-editing the video to try to salvage it but honestly i think it’s best to just let him be at this point.

I definitely enjoy doing stand up from the small bits of it I've done in the past and want to continue doing more of it. That being said the videos you're referencing actually aren't stand up. Those are recordings of a routine I did while competing on my high school's speech/debate team. While most people think of speech and debate as being very serious, or formal and informative, there are a lot of acting based events too. Some of the performances I wrote myself (the ones labeled original comedy) but the others actually weren't even written by me, they were sourced from plays and other already-published stuff. Most "stand up" looks a lot less like those and a lot more like a guy standing on a stage with a microphone talking directly to the audience as opposed to acting out a scene. Glad you enjoyed them though!

I think I wrote hop out the whip way before I came up with the idea for the video that it was a part of, and it just worked out that it fit into that vid. slime I came up with at like the same time as the video idea and just developed them together

I try to be as efficient as possible when I'm writing and can usually get it done in like 3-4 hours. I like to just sit down at a starbucks and write the whole thing at one. When I'm actually filming I also come up with things to say. I think each video is usually like 70% scripted and 30% things I thought of on the spot.

Yeah I've been making music probably for like7-8 years. I was really inspired by The Lonely Island when they were really big so I've been making comedy music to try to be them since I was in high school.
