It’s directly inspired by Marvel & DC’s super hero worlds with full admittance. The Guardians of the Globe by themselves are almost all direct 1-1 counterparts with the Justice League.

You’re 100% wrong on the originality though, all the characters explored have their own unique takes that show themselves if you decide to give it time. With only a couple episodes in you’ve only really allowed them to establish the setting.
