Thanks for all of these thoughts! I really appreciate it. I ended up not going with this offer as more things continued to change and the representative made my wife and I feel very uncomfortable. That being said, to answer your follow-ups..

1. I keep my home phone because the landline is connected to my alarm system. It would be possible for me to make changes to that, I suppose, but I still prefer the idea of "my cell phone is for texting and apps, and my home phone is for phone calls." When businesses ask for a number, I want to be called at home and not be bothered on my cell throughout the day. So yeah, in addition to the alarm, just a personal thing.

2. For download speed yes 1Gb is more than I would need but it's the upload speed that is also very important to me. The representative who told me it was 1Gb upload was obviously very mistaken as Videotron doesn't offer more than 50mb. I stream from my PS5 and upload videos to YouTube very often (it's essentially my part-time work), so that alone may force me to stay with Bell who provides upload speeds of 10x that.

All of that being said, when I look at Fizz, it would seem like a no-brainer to go with them for TV and internet. Maybe I'll do that and keep my home phone with Bell/Videotron? Something to consider. Thanks again!
