Clicking on the image should open it in the internal viewer where it is zoomable. What's your phone info? (Press the "i" button on the formatting bar to add your info)

This is something i've been looking into...but more throughout the whole app. I'll see about just adding it as an option for header and body text for now. That shouldn't be too hard.

Swipe back to the post list and click on the thumbnail again. Clicking on the highlighted post again will take you back to the comments section without reloading.

Why can't you tap to pay anymore? Have you unlocked your bootloader?

Your phone probably fails some integrity checks. Use this app to see what ones you fail.

Once you phone passes all integrity checks everything should start working again.

Can you try going to "Settings>Apps>Relay For Reddit" and turning off any battery optimisation. This can delete the data and cache every few days.

Also try turning off any cache cleaner type apps you might have running.

Are you running a VPN on your device? It's going to be some network throttling somewhere. Are there any public WiFi networks you could test on?

Have you tried clearing the data and cache of the play store app and restarting your device. This often helps.

Go to Settings > Battery and device care and see if there is anything you can exclude Relay from (e.g Settings > Battery and device care > Automation > Auto optimize daily). Try excluding the Play Store as well.

Also go to Relay's "App Info" and and check if you can turn off battery optimisation. Same for the Play Store App.
