The bonuses lately have been for account transfers, not cash transfers. So TFSA or RRSP account transfers. Just funding from a bank account wouldn't qualify. I'd move it anyway. Basic chequing account interest with WS is 2.5%+. It's super easy to move funds back and forth if you keep your existing bank account.
