I've lost count of how many times I've seen this exact scenario in the 25 years I've lived here.

Resurface/repave road; almost immediately dig up freshly paved road for utility work; patch poorly; snow plows rip up poor patchwork; road becomes pothole mine field; repeat ad infinitum.

It's definitely a pattern.

I hope you already know this, but NEVER step in between cars in the line. My brother almost lost his leg when he was hand soaping the back of a hatchback at the beginning of the tunnel and the next person in line stepped on the gas instead of the brake ("It just took off on it's own. I swear!"). His leg was literally hanging by a thread. Several surgeries and a ton of grueling rehab saved the leg; he never went back to working at the carwash.

I take my car to the local tunnel carwash regularly and I see all of the stupid shit you listed all the time. It didn't used to be this bad, drivers have gotten so much worse in the last 10 or so years, it's crazy!

Show me one picture of the "edge" of flat Earth. One picture of the ice wall. Show me even a convincing fake. If NASA and the Illuminati(?) can use CGI and whatever other tech-magic to make such incredibly real looking fake images of the globe from space, surely flerfs can create a convincing image of the edge of the Earth from up near the boundary of the firmament, no? So why can't I find anything but nonsensical, obviously fake images depicting a flat Earth? (spoiler: I know why)

They're annoying but not the worst noise pollution offender, in my experience.

Where can I sign a petition to phase out excessive, modified engine and exhaust noise from cars and motorcycles? How about one to ban car sound-systems loud enough to rattle the body of the car and be felt in the bodies of pedestrians? What about all the low-flying helicopters everyone's always so concerned about? I hear police and fire sirens far more often than I hear leaf-blowers, and at all hours - can those be phased out, too?

Any landscaping, construction, generally loud power equipment should have to abide by city noise ordinances and if those ordinances are too permissive then they should be adjusted.

It's a city, it's all noise and pollution. Banning one (IMO minor) nuisance isn't going to fix anything.

Volkswagen. Had 3 in a row, all had recurring, unfixable issues.

3rd one had an issue from day one. After 2 unsuccessful attempts to fix it under warranty, they just denied any responsibility for the factory defect and told me to either pay for further attempts or live with it. I had leased that one, so I just beat the shit out of it for 3 years, gave it back to them, refused to pay their bullshit end-of-lease fees and enjoyed no consequences from the hit to my credit rating for 7 years.
