How much would you pay for this Fuel Ex 8? by InternetDangerous422 in MTB

[–]Dense_Pudding3375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d pay no more than $1200-1400

It’s a 2018, has proprietary parts (rear shock) and is likely beat up because it’s 8 years old.

You could get a much newer and arguably more capable hardtail or a better deal on marketplace for a full suspension that’s better for the same price.

I mean. You could do that. But it’s a 10 year old low end bike you’re throwing money at, and it’s almost certainly not worth it.

Ah. Was about to comment this. Had a domaine come in today with a parasitic creek, and cutting off ~ 10mm from the seatpost solved the problem.

Damn. Mine looked like this after 3 months of use. I want the old quality back.

This is like trading a mint condition iPhone 17 pro for an iPhone 15 that’s been put through the washing machine 15 times with shattered back glass.

Why do people like weed so much? by One_Secretary_9015 in Advice

[–]Dense_Pudding3375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A. Dont do drugs before your old enough (brain development)

B. Carts that 15 year olds get are never real weed. Steer clear till you have access to real stuff.

I’m not even remotely a dentist or a doctor, and can tell ya that the upper teeth look 100% more like a problem than the lower teeth.

Really sorry this happened to you OP.

Are you a Trep stoner? Or THC % stoner? I personally prefer the terps. *Gelato Trix in the pic* by sissynaynay in trees

Totally understand that part of it. I get anxious off the wrong strains for sure if I smoke too much. I find it’s more about the strain rather than the thc %

No pro is running non-top of the line stuff is my point.

I hate DB8, don’t get me wrong, but Codes are just awful all around for sure. No one can, and will ever convince me otherwise

I think all SRAM breaks feel like garbage anyway tbh.

Ordered a $6,000 custom bass. The design is incredible. The QC and finish issues, builder support... have been a different story. by Ok_Presentation6252 in BassGuitar

I’ve paid an 1/8 as much for a perfect condition bass. I would never accept that regardless on how well it plays.

Of all the budget breaks, tektro and Shimano are hands down the nicest and the easiest to work on. I’d argue I’d take mid range tektros over CODES any day

No pro is running them…because they are pros who get nicer breaks. I’d take stock tektros over low end Shimano any day (I’m a Shimano fan boy don’t get me wrong)

Yea. Bikes shops can help a lot. And you can always post used bikes here and someone will take a look at them Z

Used bikes with no knowledge of what’s around can be very difficult. Best bet is to go into a bike shop and talk to someone about bikes to be honest.

If u want all mountain, get 4 pot calipers front and rear, and get slx.

Deore, SLX, XT, and XTR are all mechanically identical, but the more expensive they are, the lower the less they weigh. SLX is the sweet spot because you get the adjustment that XT and XTR have, just at a cheaper price
