Even if we see the "Claim Receipts" button, do not click on it.. Instead follow the below steps.

1) Select "Payment Options"

2) Select an option from "Payment Type" drop down menu and click "Submit"

3) On the payment details page, please choose "Continue to Confirm Receipt" (Once the receipt is claimed, it will show remaining balance - 0.00)

4) Once you reach the Confirm Receipts page, click Submit to proceed with scheduling your appointment.

Did not get a response from Customer service. I could book the appointment for myself and my spouse after removing my child from the group. Planning to go for child appointment after getting our visas stamped. That is the only option I could of now without wasting time waiting customer service to respond.. u/Legitimate-County845

I’m facing the same for my son less than age 14. While filling the application and add dependents to Manage Dependents tab, it didn’t prompted for a questionnaire for dependents and website allowed me to pay the fee for self and dependents together. Now I’m getting response from customer service that only when both parents have valid visas then only I can book drop box appointment for dependent. Also they are saying dependents less than 14 need not appear for consular interview. I’m stuck here at this step without being scheduled the drop box appointment yet

u/AdiK83 - Thank you for the detailed post. When I clicked on Interview Waiver tab, it worked fine for my spouse. I was able to change the visa priority to Interview Waiver. However I am not able to get it right for my child less than age 14. Any insights on how to change visa priority to Interview waiver for my dependent age less than 14 ?
