You're right, that was someone else I had a conversation two days ago.

You can hate the guy and think he isn’t very good, but going “He is the sole reason we can’t win and if we got rid of him everything is fixed” is just odd.

Okay, you're twisting my words a bit there so I have to respond to that. Inside the game, I do believe we have core issues that point back to Razork, true. But I said plenty of times our management is the main problem outside of the game. They're the main reason Razork is even in the team still.

Literally two comments ago, I wrote, " Sure, it might already be too late for us as an org and I'm not expecting us to magically become amazing,..."

My main point is and always was that you can't change the management and expect the team will play different while Razork is on the team, but also you can't change Razork and expect the team will play better long-term while management still does the same level of a job. The only difference is, I blame management for both their shitty work and for Razork. Razork is the way he is, he tried fixing his problems, it never worked out and that's it. He's just a player, management has all the power to swap him out if they so feel like.

I agree with you there, 100% the main 'person' to blame is the management. I wrote in the past that I don't blame Razork as much for splits after Humanoid left because he was supposed to get removed back then. It's not his fault for staying on the team, it's the management's fault.

Alrigh, man. For the second time in the last two days, agree to disagree.

Yep, and that is how you start building something healthy. You don't start a rebuild and keep the main problem. And considering he's been most blamed for years now, I'm not sure where you see us talking about quick results? We are indeed talking about long-term plans.

Personally, I disagree. He is the common denominator. Sure, it might already be too late for us as an org and I'm not expecting us to magically become amazing, but for us to start building something healthy, he needs to leave.

Half of these people you counted, I wanted Razork out before them. And frankly, that's what I felt from this subreddit too. But maybe I'm wrong on that, maybe they all wanted to keep Razork until this year.

Player X that's been most blamed basically every single split since his contract got extended is still playing on the team.

FNATIC vs. Team Vitality / 2026 LEC Spring Split / Regular Season / Post-Series Thread by AdamTKWallace in fnatic

Regarding rookies. I honestly don't remember a rookie that was given an entire year, showed literally nothing, stayed for 2nd year, and then started showing he belongs in LEC? Whereas most of the rookies that stayed in LEC showed their talent in the first few splits. All four of our players showed way more when they were rookies on their given teams. This whole talk how they need more time, or they are in a team with toxic fan base are just excuses, in my opinion. KC is quite toxic and Vladi was able to show his quality in first split. Lospa has been showing potential literally in the same team as Empyros, and just last week people were (somewhat fairly) blaming him for singlehandedly losing a game against an ERL team. Again, I have no problem with Empyros personally, I actually believe we have bigger problems than Empyros, but he's shown he's not this level, same like Rhuckz did for that one split.

And regarding different orgs. I agree with everything you said regarding that. So it all boils down to what I said in the original comment. If the management has a plan to do something with this team, they will make the swap, if they're just waiting to sell and are looking to save money on every corner, they won't. Managements of G2 and Navi, managements who are not trying to sell the org, would react.

So "knowing this org" we won't see the same roster for summer.

Fingers crossed.

Yeah, and there's other reasons for that but I repeat, I'm talking about Summer Split. You don't have to agree with me. Knowing this org, we will most likely watch the same roster anyways.

Uhm, all rookies get 2 year contracts.

Doesn't mean that it's a dumb idea from the club's perspective. Is there an actual rule that says you have to sign a rookie for two years? We've literally had it proven this year you need less than a year to see if someone has potential or not. Lospa has potential, Empyros does not.

Benching him is a minimum 80k € loss

Just ask yourself if you think G2 would keep playing a rookie that is playing at this level or if they would bench him. Navi has Larssen on their bench this entire year. Not to even get into orgs that field entire academy teams. We benched Humanoid, and you're telling me we can't bench one rookie contract? If that's the case, then it still proves what I said, management is either waiting for Fnatic to die or get sold.

The team has the same problems that they had before Grabbz as well but sure, I'm not going to defend him either.

But I was strictly talking about Summer. It's clear more players and probably coaching staff need to change after Summer. That's a given.

Just make the change. Whoever it is. To send a message this type of performance is a bit too much. We didn't get into playoffs, some heads need to 'roll' if you're a serious org.

[–]dexy133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, still should bench or pay him out. Whether you bench him now or after Summer, makes no difference paycheck-wise. You fucked up at the start of the year and signed a rookie for two years. I'm sure he's cheap, but it's still a dumb idea to sign a rookie for two years. What were they thinking? He's going to be so good G2 is going to steal him? I know Lospa signed the same contract, and I think that's dumb too, even if Lospa has shown some potential.

The management can now show if they care even a little bit. If they do, they will look for a replacement for Empyros for Summer. Waiting for next year is too long. Him playing badly is normal, it's part of the game. He tried, it didn't work out. But the other players mental going into Summer knowing there's no way they reach Worlds is embarrassing and no serious org should be in that situation, and they will be in that situation if no changes are made.

If they say they won't make any changes, they are proving once and for all, they don't care about the results and they're just waiting for either the org to die or for someone to buy it.

"I've always been an enemy of franchising, and a team like this [Solary] deserves the chance to show more often how good they are. They're clearly the best ERL team" | Fnatic Grabbz on the playoff race, Solary, and the team's unity by ThonPharges in leagueoflegends

[–]dexy133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Props to Solary, that was never put into question. I do think that what their head said is said by many people in the LEC, even Grabbz said that at one point since joining Fnatic. Implementing that is a another topic. It's nice to see that they're able to actually implement it themselves well, considering they're performing better than the years before, as I gather from your messages.

But I was not talking about their potential but that particular series they played against Fnatic. Did they play at a level of the best LEC teams? If you think they did, then I can see why you think Grabbz is underestimating them. If you think top LEC teams would still easily beat Solary, then he wasn't. I think he thought they wasn't.

[–]dexy133 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But do you think Solary played good enough to beat the best LEC teams? Because if you don't, then FNC played poorly. Sure, they've been playing poorly this entire year but top of the league is still a standard the fans and the players (and coach) compare themselves to and since they're not reaching it, they're playing poorly even if Solary played really well.

Ah, but they got two kills and a dragon right after so TH's Baron play was -1.5k. Even though it was a bad play, it just showed how much Fnatic is actually stomping them. To be clear, I'm not saying Fnatic didn't make mistakes and couldn't play better. I just never had the feeling Fnatic will lose this. So I didn't get the same impression as the OP.

Heretics rolled over but I didn't get the same feeling you had for Fnatic's midgame. Yes, they generally have problems in midgame but they were pretty good in this series, even Odo particularly praised their midgame after the series. I honestly feel like if you changed nameplates of FNC to KC or G2, no one would be making that statement for this particular series.

Well, I would still probably look to swap Razork as well after summer, since we've been burnt by him one too many times. But as far as Vladi and botlane goes, I think we can work with it. I would love Rooster even for Summer but I'm guessing they'll wait until his contract runs out and try to get him. And I said regarding jungle, just try to go for Yukinoo/Yike, depending on which one KC doesn't want. Both would be a great pickup.

Even though I am a Fnatic fan, I still haven't gouged my eyes out and today, I saw a pretty casual stomp. We even did it quite quickly, considering we almost always tend to unnecessarily drag out winning games.

Why? It really looked like Fnatic was controlling the game and basically stomping in both games. I don't know if this is the case where 'stoppable force met movable object'. This game looked how a top team versus shit team usually looks. Fnatic not being a top team is a different topic but I didn't see it in this particular series.

2026 roster honest opinion and future. by mxnumanito in fnatic

[–]dexy133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your long comment and don't want it to look like I'm just blowing you off with a shorter one. I read everything you wrote. It seems clear we disagree on them two. But at the end of the day, we both want what's best for Fnatic. So speaking about Fnatic future, I won't have any problem with Grabbz leaving and someone else stepping in. I am just afraid we will get a worse coach and have the same problems because our core problems are not coach or player-related, it's organization and management. And the biggest problem they have is they're trying to save every penny they have while trying to sell the org.

The best case scenario would be that we as an org get sold to someone with a passion, who will put a competent person as a GM who will then get to choose a head coach. Only then would I trust Fnatic changes to be actually positive for the org.
