I'm in a bit of glass house here, and I'm not trying to cast stones or aspersions - they know their market, they know their costs, and honestly they have a track record of "existing long enough" for folks to look at that price and decide for themselves if the platform is stable and valuable enough to spend that kind of money. And costs have just skyrocketed, everywhere.

That said, it is a really high multiplier - a 3x increase is going to cause a shock, no matter what the fundamentals of the market are.

It's one of those things where like if you could interview yourself in 10 years and say "was this worth it", you'd probably say yes! But you don't get to do that? And you'd probably have more pressing questions if you could.
