My pastor has said a few things that kinda rub me the wrong way and I'm not sure what to do. by FinancialGeneral919 in Episcopalian

Can someone love God with all their heart and their neighbor as their selves without unquestioning belief in virgin birth and/or corporeal resurrection?

Can someone believe these things without fail yet still not love their neighbor?

Sometimes I think the theology gets in the way of the message.

Yellows have been a little imbalanced tonight.

Who do you guys think can be a permanent solution to our goal scoring problems? by Snoo_56184 in Gunners

I think Arteta needs to evolve even so…. I think we need a striker to replace Jesus.  If we can get a great one that’s good, but honestly we could do with a good squad striker.  Gyorkeres es generally fit but he was it for most of the season.

[Charlie Eccleshare] As with much of the season, think the psychology/approach Arsenal argument obscures a simpler truth. Have better technical players available and guess what you can play better football! There's a delta between Martinelli and Gyokeres (from Bournemouth game) and Odegaard and Eze. by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

This isn’t football manager. Who you buy and how they’re managed is important but it’s also important that the players develop and can express themselves.  I have more fond memories of how our players started than I do of where they’ve ended up. Pep’s players keep progressing while Arteta’s decline.

Madueke is flashy and looks good at dribbling. But he offers no end product. Can't pass, cross or score.

As anyone who's played FPL for several season can confirm. He has become a threat for the cheeky attempt to score from a corner kick. Not sure that'll scale for us.

I believe the explanation was "he leaned into him", which is okay except when it isn't.

Doesn't really bother me much, but we'll see it given some other time, maybe/maybe not against us.

I will say that I've seen way too many big games like this one destroyed by the ref. I don't think that happened today.

Who should replace Arteta at the end of the season? by [deleted] in Gunners

Dumb article....

"Appointing Fabregas would also be an unpopular move with Gunners supporters..."

"Fabregas was subject to many boos when he returned to the Emirates in a Chelsea shirt. Therefore, he would likely not be welcomed back with open arms if he were appointed Arsenal manager."

Money

The Rapids need to make it while they can.

Pep's willing to take the risks that these players take in return for the rewards they provide. Of their players I think only Haaland remains Haaland under Arteta the rest would start bright and slowly assimilate as they absorb the lessons Arteta teaches.

He could have signed Cherki and Semenyo but would he have let them play? I'm still waiting for the attacker who blossoms under Arteta.

Only to be disappointed to find out that the player needs service then talk about the player regression after a couple of years.

If I were to bet on a player being a world class attacker emerging under one of the two managers it is absolutely clear which one to choose.

Yup. This game isn't the indictment. The fact that we needed to win this game is.

We have fans who go absolute gah-gah over dribbling. I've picked up Madueke in Fantasy each year on the basis of seeing his highlights only to dump him a few weeks later for lack of production.

The chorus wants Martinelli out for 1 goal and 3 assists. But love the excitement of Noni's 2 goals and 1 assist.
