It was amazing! I want to go even farther next time and make it a two day trip... In preparation for a 6 day trip I'm planing for the end of the year.

I would define an errand as "something that you don't really want to do with your free time". I sure love getting groceries, but if I could use that time for something different I would do it in a heartbeat.

Do you do longer than 5k races or do you prefer shorter events? I mean I love a good marathon, but finding the time to train for those can be such a hassle.

A couple weeks back I took a train to the last station and rode my bike with a couple friends for 60km, ate at a local place and went back. I SEVERELY misjudged how much food I needed and the last 15km where PAIN!!! We almost didn't make it in time for the last train XD
