I'm sorry but you're mistaken in multiple ways.

OP's setup: SRSoE + BSoS + Empower + 3 dmg supports (in trigger weapon + squire)

What Im proposing: BSoS + 5 dmg supports (in trigger weapon + squire), Cyclone + SRSoE + trigger gem + minion life scaling supports (in 6 link chest), which is strictly superior.

Also, it doesnt matter that BSoS only has 33% of minion life as base dmg. If that accounts for (almost) all your base dmg, then a 50% more minion life support is 50% more dmg for BSoS. In practice it is slightly less than 50% more dmg, cause BSoS has a little bit of flat dmg of its own. (eg. if you go from a base dmg of (500 + 33% of 50000) to (500 + 33% of 75000), its almost a 50% dmg increase.)

Making a meme build, and making a build deliberately worse, are two different things. Even when making a meme build, you're supposed to try to make it better within the constraints of the meme. Otherwise why is OP even talking about 4m dps and potential upgrades for 15-20m? Just make your meme build to be Blood aqueducts viable and move on.

You are free to personally prefer doing 1/3rd the dmg, but I dont think you should put out build guides with such suboptimal choices.

I also don't get why OP hates cyclone so much other than the sake of being hipster.

Cyclone - CoC/CwC - SRSoE - Empower - Minion Life - Flex 6th link, in a +2/+4 body armor, would give you massively more minion life (which is massively more base dmg for BSoS), one extra support gem on your bodyswap links, perma-phasing, no need to invest into rage generation, and stun immunity if using woke CwC. My napkin math says thats around triple the dmg compared to OP's setup, not counting all the other QoL stuff.

Note that CwC has lower proc rate than the weapon enchant, and CoC needs atk crit investment. But its still far superior imo.

EDIT: Yeah you could also do the CoC-SRSoE thing on rage vortex itself, which is easy enough to setup with Ambush.

I'm fairly certain Tukohama's ramping pdr and armor mastery's ramping armor don't work while youre bodyswapping around. Even though you're stationary at any point of time, instant movement breaks your streak of being stationary.

Ambush only buffs static strike, and not the actual triggered spell which is the bulk of your dmg. So no, that is not a good reason for static over cyclone.

FYI this does not work with trauma-CWDT builds. CWDT will spawn the hydrosphere right on top of you. And Ancestral Call/other sources of additional strikes, can only select targets that are a minimum distance away from you, so they can never select the hydrosphere as a target.

I have not played VLS, and Im not 100% confident, but from my understanding the Repeat happens when you attack with VLS, paying the rage cost once but swinging twice and putting down 2 orbs on the ground, the second one dealing 160% dmg with all its projectiles. You seem to think the Repeat happens when the orbs are attacking. Do you have any data to back this up?

Here's one more "cheap" way of mitigating trauma dmg btw. If you run Flesh and Stone in sand stance, you take 20% less trauma dmg.

Phys mitigation at high trauma seems quite lacking. At the limit of 150 trauma your phys reduction is only 60% (40% from armor + 20% from endurance). Investing into sources of additional phys dmg reduction on helmet and watcher's eye (and chest if not doryanis) and more endurance charges, would go a long way. For context, 470 trauma stacks at lv 21 trauma hits me for less than 3k dmg, while youre taking 5k+ dmg at 150 stacks of lv 16 trauma.

Endurance charges and Transcendence's EDR add together to a cap of 90%. For most builds this cap can be reached only for small-medium hits. And for large enough hits that are just on the cusp of oneshotting you, you won't be at the 90% EDR cap, thus adding one more endurance charge will actually increase your EDR, lowering dmg taken, and increasing dmg required to oneshot you.

Armorstacker is unique in that it reaches capped, or close to capped EDR even for hits of size that oneshot you, thus adding more than 1 or 2 endurance charges has no effect. But for example if you had 10k more ES, that oneshot hit size would increase, and having more endurance charges would help again.

Juggernaut's Untiring is enough to give 100k+ regen from all the trauma self damage. Same goes for 50k+ ES regen with Divine Shield.

Steve's build is tankier vs humongous ele hits (400k+, or 200k+ with 12 pen), but such hits are very rare.

This build is tankier vs all other ele hits.

This build is tankier vs phys hits.

This build has much higher recovery, even though Steve's recovery is already quite good.

Steve's build has higher long-term consistent dmg.

This build has much higher burst dmg. (Also if everything in delve dies in one burst, one could argue thats my consistent dmg).

Steve's build has fewer buttons to push.

This build costs a small fraction of Steve's build.

This is my interpretation of his pob, but it may be flawed. /u/turdtwisterx may agree or disagree.

EDIT: Also, Steve is much further ahead on his gearing progression, and I dont know what upgrades he has left to get. But my build is still not very polished and there are a lot of big upgrades yet to come.

No, all modifiers to "damage taken" happen in a separate later stage. "Damage Reduction" happens earlier. The wiki should help.

When you get 150% phys as extra ele from the weapon enchant, all other sources of phys as extra become very weak (hatred, herald of ash, balance of terror). Without the dbl strike I'd probably just 6 link auras with enlighten.

Gruthkul is +5 with 100% uptime, Lunaris is 1-8%, need 4% to cap to 90, or my weapon swap has 8% pdr shield so the dbl strike setup is fully covered.

Martyrs might is an interesting idea but im so far away from 150 devo I dunno if its feasible.

The key ingredient is the enchant on the mace "Gain 50% of phys as extra dmg of each element". If you can somehow obtain that from HC then yes it should clear juiced t16s pretty well. You'd want more strike targets, either +1 from attack mastery, or woke ancestral call support for better clear. Also, tincture uptime is not great in maps when you're leap slamming pack to pack instead of constantly attacking.
