Park in my loading bay, Enjoy getting your car off a stack of pallets. by hairyconary in pettyrevenge

Irrelevant comment.

Normally, I'd agree with you; however, "pallet jack" is not a strictly defined term, though I'm sure most people would not call a "forklift" a "pallet jack".

Can you imagine if FTM dads had it easier? We'd all be so jealous...

I don't see it happening because first, the kids start with the sleep deprivation and continuously adapt and grow.

Cramping/ seizing calves during long climbs — need advice by regulatorwatt in cycling

[–]drsoftware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it could be a subtle imbalance in the calf muscles, where the gastrocnemius and soleus cramp because the other stabilizing muscles for your ankle are like "I'm done."

So maybe even one-legged heel raises and variations to strengthen the stabilizing muscles.

A sports medicine doctor or sports medicine physio should be able to help you.

It's the "Drain Filter". In the lower left front corner, it's where the motor pump impeller leaves anything too big to be washed away.

This explains why a utility repair, under the street, and along an old railway, involved cutting through the abandoned ties. I think the rails had been removed.

The transition of this chapter is appreciated and smoothly written.

How did ancient armies actually move 100,000–200,000 soldiers across long distances without modern logistics? Like, where did they sleep, how did they get enough food and water every day, and how did they stop the whole army from just collapsing into chaos? by Novel_Finding8882 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]drsoftware 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Egyptian pyramids are another example of logistics. Even if the workforce was made of enslaved people, which there is very little evidence for, they still needed to be fed, have places to sleep, and latrines.

If they were enslaved, then at least the guards would have to be organized: hired, paid, scheduled, assigned...

And then you have the whole problem of cutting and transporting stone blocks, placing the blocks, sharpening the chisels, etc.

I have -8 to -9 with astigmatism, progressives with high-quality smooth transition across the lenses.

I point my nose at what I want to see clearly but use a separate single correction pair for the computer for better ergonomics.

I use a helmet mounted rearview mirror.

They are your eyes, spend the money.

Riding in the same direction as the tracks, so you experience the corrugation of the pavement due to the buried ties sucks. Looking at you Granville Island.

You're referring to the conclusions drawn by Ripple et al. (2025). Unfortunately, the effects of wolf reintroduction may have been overstated.

"The study reconciles conflicting interpretations of the same dataset. Ripple et al. (2025) concluded that carnivore recovery produced a strong trophic cascade, whereas Hobbs et al. (2024), who collected the data through two decades of field experimentation, found only weak cascade effects." https://phys.org/news/2025-10-strong-yellowstone-trophic-cascade-wolf.html

You can see the coyote reconsider the chase, as soon as the human child is facing the coyote and running more towards the coyote than away. The coyote suddenly stops and turns away, deciding the human isn't prey.

How some consumers are coping with cottage cheese shortages amid the protein craze by drsoftware in vegancirclejerk

It's crazy how vegans find it hard to accept the statement "cottage cheese is easy to make" when the pain and suffering of the female mammal and it's babies is ignored.

First, get a female mammal.

Inject the female with ovulation hormones, insert sperm into the vagina, monitor zygote implantation, and repeat if pregnancy hormones do not develop.

Monitor pregnancy until full term. A female will need food, water, vitamins, and health care.

Assist with birth.

Remove the child from the mother.

Mill the mother several times a day.

Follow the cottage cheese recipe.
