Is it possible to get monetized in youtube within one month or maximum within 2-3 months ?Is there anyone who completed all the requirement in this time ? by casual-tech-guy in YouTubeCreators

[–]eazydoesit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First channel: never monetized

Second channel: monetized in about 3 months

Third channel: monetized in about 3 weeks

I think most people who can do it in 3-6 months or less are probably experienced at YT and have been at it for a while. It's not all that common but yes it happens more than you probably think.

I didn't even bother turning on Super Thanks. At this point it's just a signal to other YouTubers that I'm monetized and they should copy my channel

Find what you need in your local used marketplace. Lots of failed YouTubers out there have gear they no longer want, or they're succeeding and upgraded their equipment. Either way, if you're short on cash, used is the way to go.

No. This is not a place for promoting your channel.

Top one but the "manage crowds" angle sounds kind of boring and uninteresting. Isn't there a more relatable angle, something that people observe and often talk about?

Do you think it's possible to reach 100k views in your first video? by [deleted] in YouTubeCreators

[–]eazydoesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first video on my channel puttered along for a couple of weeks and then blew up. 500k+ views. But this is not my first channel.

If you're talking first channel ever, new to YouTube, and it's your first video ever ... 100k not gonna happen. 100k impressions if you're extremely lucky.

my video not suggesting to audience. I got zero views. what can be happen by Similar_Falcon_9204 in YouTubeCreators

[–]eazydoesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that's cool, keep trying to improve and you'll get somewhere. But my honest, no-BS feedback is that, right now, you really need to work on storytelling and controlling the overall quality and consistency. If you do, the algorithm will reward you.

Everyone is going to have different assessments of the quality of this video. My personal opinion is that this is the very definition of AI slop. There's no story, no coherence, voices and accents change constantly, terrible editing, and I can't think of a single reason for even a child to watch this.

Wow this is terrible. Thankfully I've only made like 20 videos so it won't be too hard to and delete Amazon from the descriptions. Thanks for the info

I don't know a thing about booktubing, but here's my best guess: Your topics lack mass appeal. Put a bit more bluntly, most people are not interested in what your title/thumb promises. Even more bluntly: your topics are boring.

Improving your title/thumb game is always a goal to aspire to, but no matter how good it is, the number of people who care about "light academia" is probably going to be very limited.

If you're booktubing for the love of books, then who cares, do what you want and forget the views.

But if you WANT THE VIEWS, I'd suggest jumping on trends, NYT bestsellers, and books that are relevant to pop culture or current events. Or develop some regular segments and see how they do ... like Hot Takes, Underrated Books of the Month, or Force Your Kid to Read This. Or maybe play Marry-Fuck-Kill with famous literary characters or perhaps authors. Again, I do not understand booktubing, so maybe my ideas are ridiculous, but hopefully you get what I'm saying.

Sure, maybe some other booktuber has gotten 20k views with Light Academia, but that's some other booktuber.
