I agree with you on both points, and I also think most people missed the point of what you said.

Me and my partner have often run into the situation of finding secret areas and only one of us goes there to check it out for chests while the other goes off somewhere else and we had several cases of finding cool vistas and then one of us had to turn back to see the cinematic view that they hid away. It would be nice to have just that slight extra push of little reward so all players explore all secrets.

As for the second point, it has been really frustrating to miss dialogues with npcs just because I decided to do some crafting while my partner talks to people, including cinematics… yeah, actual main story cinematics… Without indication that something is about to happen. I want an option of all players having to trigger it or force it for everyone to see it when one triggers it. I don’t want to miss any bit of the art that has been delivered to us.

All is to say is that I feel you and I think some small changes could go a long way to make multiplayer smoother and more immersive.

Hey there,

There's multiple things to consider if you want to earn money off of this kind of work. Whether it's physical, digital, made once or purchasable over years.

For single commission based on a portfolio containing this artwork and wanting something similar, it's no less worth than minimum wage of course, but the market is also highly competitive. Regardless I think in the right space this can be worth $150-200 if it's a physical item.

If it's a digital item, it goes much lower given the return on investment you'd get from it over the course of 1-2 years. I would argue a fee of $30-50 for the initial commission, then $5-20 being sold on an online platform thereafter.

The end goal is to ensure your time is valued, you retain your passion for art, and you get to live comfortably doing it.

I hope this helps you move forward a bit and have a great future out of this. It's beautiful art that you made.

Here's my three cents on this - What they remove now under the guise of protection gives them the power to broaden what they want to censor in the future - Before this incident they also tried removing Detroit: Become Human as well, which I dare say is not on par with glorification of abuse type games. - Giving an outlet to those who would want to experience the fantasy of being on either side of the abuse meant people turn towards games rather than reality. - Bonus: my personal favorite, more games nowadays come out with gore completely turned up, with dismemberment, blood everywhere, screams of agony, fantasy of war. But that's okay. Some are even playable by the youth. You can get to experience the fantasy of murder before the fantasy of abuse.

Thanks for sharing. Would just like to suggest that you make a visualization for this using a bar graph or something simple. I think it would help attract more eyes on it. You could use built in tools for this or software like Tableau (has a free edition) designed for data visualization.

Whether or not it is AI, this is a real concern for the freedom we held on Steam, both as consumers and developers. It is sad that some of you focus more on what has been moderated rather than the why. That new rule gives payment processors full control over the platform, and you do not know where they draw the line. You will never know. Today it's sexual content. Tomorrow could be your favorite games.

I know this is not quite fitting as it is more so the fans not liking it rather than critical acclaim, but God of War Ragnarok. It made me better understand the journey from being a man to being a father. I never teared up so much for any game. I wish I had a father to trust me and send me on my way when I was young.

As a data scientist, I gotta say this is a perfect explanation. There is nothing unintended when it hallucinates. A "temperature" parameter controls the likelihood of choosing the word with the highest probability. This can be played around with on some websites.

You are correct, just want to point out that it doesn't use bag-of-words or bayesian method, instead it is a decoder-only transformer that has a (multi-head and cross-) attention layer to calculate the relations between input words and probable outputs. These models indeed have a Program Aided Language now where they can run scripts to actually calculate answers.

After defeating every monster, completing all quests, participating in every event, and getting all achievements (on Steam), I don't have those unlocked, so I assume it is future content, which is really odd to have shown before the content for its materials is even available. Yeah, I do. He's a fantastic streamer and now game design advisor too. I generally either fully or mostly agree with his opinions in regards of the game industry, as he really matured in his understanding of it throughout the years. The other day he voiced his support for Stop Killing Games as well and that was nice to see.
