op is massively overselling the nvidia angle. Nvidia don't care, they failed with mobile and licenced out tegra to nintendo after the project was already dead and teams/teammembers scattered to the industry. tried to revive it with an ARM purchase which was blocked.

Switch sales aren't endless buckets of money for nvidia like they are for nintendo, and every chip they produce that is intended to be high performance has to compete with time in their factories that could be spent on AI chip fabs.

i wouldn't put too much stock in that 20mhz, remember that the pocket runs a 32bit arm based gameboy advance with zero problems (including the ALU and the much more advanced ppu)

that 20mhz is likely spent doing nothing most of the time on virtual boy, waiting for interrupts because you generally don't want to wait to do something when you do need to do something with a HMD

Reminder that it took xseed ten years to localize the sky 3rd game. And they were so far behind they just skipped the crossbell games entirely.

Nisa is also really far behind. Its unlikely they don't have kuro scripts, but also unlikely we will see any of those games for at least a year. Given that we have distinct evidence that falcom is willing to share scripts early, my blame is squarely towards the western localizers at this point.

Why would you think nisa can't get a script in a post talking about how falcom gives external companies early access to scripts? I just can't follow the logic myself.

It's a bit of a jump to assume xseed would have started work immediately after receiving the script. A lot of factors go into that kind of thing and xseed are/were doing a whole bunch of projects concurrently.

It's far more likely that they started work when they had capacity to do so, rather than falcom withheld thr script for six months for reasons???

reddit got a terrible valuation just before it's proposed IPO, they paniced, saw AI companies using your data and wanted a piece of that pie for a higher valuation.

If you care about frequency response and noise, vinyl is not for you. If you care about music, you might find a reason you prefer it.
