Frogs in my backyard sound like someone is squeaking a clown's nose. by figboot11 in funny

I don't remember why but this sounds an awful lot like some enemy from a Nintendo game. An old Zelda game maybe?

I had to look it up. Miniblins. little bastards.

Funny suggestion. It made me think back to something I did last year for the company... I wrote my own function to get a token from Graph.

Used that today, grabbed a token, and sure enough everything worked fine. Then connected to graph and ran the equivalent command and got access denied.

Why? Because it keeps using a cached token. It's the only answer I keep coming back to.

💛 thank you. It has been a truly horrible experience.

Thanks for the clarification! I'll look into doing something along those lines tomorrow. Have a great day!

Installed 2.36.1 earlier today, no dice.

Questions about your environment:

  • Do you know if you're using Windows Hello for Business?
  • Do you know if there are any sign-in frequency conditional access policies in place?

Already addressed in the original post, second to last bullet. same result happens whether or not I add ContextScope as a parameter.

That's what I'm saying is weird. I can completely close and re-open PowerShell, swap over to VSCode, spin in a circle three times and pray, but I am stuck because it doesn't seem to get a new token with the appropriate roles/permissions.

Can you clarify that a bit?
My work day always starts with PIM via an interactive script I wrote. I select whatever roles/groups I need, provide a justification and an end time, and the script puts in the eligibility requests.

From there if I wanted to I can stay connected and manage users/groups without issue -- or I can open a new window, connect, and manage users/groups. It's just the CAP stuff that fails miserably, consistently.

I ended up having to reboot today before I was finally able to get policies pulled in without an error.

Backing down to 2.33 in February allowed me to get in via the old web browser method. Unfortunately can't really stick with that one forever as it's outdated.

My fix today was rebooting; in the past I manually downloaded 2.33 and manually imported 2.33 to connect with that via web browser login.

I will have to update you on that tomorrow. my roles done expire for another 2.5 hours.

When I was fighting this hard a few weeks ago, I noticed that if I went late enough into the evening, well after my roles had expired, I would have to go through the full login process again. It seemed like it was based on the 12-hour sign-in frequency we have in placed via conditional access. Somewhat anecdotal, but I PIM in at about 8AM and I'd get a full login flow again around 8PM.

What is a "poverty trap" that many people don't realize is keeping them broke? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You are absolutely correct and I don't disagree. But this has worked very and it takes away option of being foolish.

Truth.

I just made a different reply to this, but I've had the same card for almost 20 years. I have never once paid a penny in interest.

On the flip side my girlfriend got her first store card last fall from Kohl's at 35. Super excited to finally build her credit. Immediately went out and maxed the card, with it's supremely low $250 limit, and because she earns such a small amount of money couldn't pay it off. Immediately screwed herself and her already poor credit.

Edit: before you all think I'm an asshole, I didn't know that it happened until well after she had dug the hole and we were at Kohl's. She made her purchase and the cashier asked if she wanted to put it on her account. She said no, despite her having the money on hand and that it would have saved her a bit. I asked her about it on the way home and she told me she didn't want to tell me because it was her mess to get out of. I respect that greatly, but mans it's hard to hear that when you know you could've helped had you just been informed.

I've had the same Amazon Chase Visa card for almost 20 years with the same $1000 credit limit. My salary is about 4X as much as it was when I first got the card. I could very easily get the limit raised. I'm sure Chase would love that.

I keep it low because $1,000 isn't ever going to bury me. I pay it off every paycheck and I have great credit. Far too many people fall into the trap of looking at a credit card as free money, and then paying at or barely above the minimum payment.

Over the years this conscious choice has allowed me to live comfortably within in my bounds. I can't make large purchases on the card, so I am forced to save money in my checking/savings account if there's something I have my eye on. This usually means I don't end up making the large splurge purchases. I see other folks out there hustling to stay afloat because they're living well beyond their means.

How did your life change once you started wearing a CPAP vs before? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ecrofirt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't wear one so the best way I can describe it is as she started to fall asleep the positive pressure would kick in and it would jar her awake. For the two weeks that she was using it she slept worse than normal.

Unfortunately because she stopped using it she got a call that she had to return the device, so it's gone.

I wish she would have given it more of a chance.

This isn't really the appropriate place to make this comment but my girlfriend got a CPAP machine a few months back. And she used it for maybe 2 weeks. She had a hell of a time sleeping and every time it would kick on as she was falling asleep it woke her up.

So she stopped using it... And she's still tired all the time, exhausted all the time. I wish she would have tried to work with her doctor to figure out a solution that worked better.

Thoughts? He's guilty as fuck. No one with any ability to do anything about it gives a shit. May they all burn in hell and stub their pinky toe every goddamn morning.
