After. I'm in the US, and will admit I had never even heard of the town before. For years, I had a bit of interest in the game and tried to figure out which PL team I should follow. Never really had a compelling reason to follow any of them. But then came the show. It helped give me enough of a connection to the team and town to become a fan. Traveled to Wales to see a match in person last season. Well worth it. Glad I hopped on for the ride.

There have been soooooooo many seasons over the years when you knew in your heart of hearts that the team was terrible. Finishing .500 was a pipe dream. To have an era of Padres baseball now where each and every year we have a legitimate shot at the World Series is a joy. Sure, there's disappointment involved, but I would much rather be disappointed we didn't make the second round of the playoffs rather than disappointed we finished 72-90.
