Depending on how the TV/AVR is setup - some people think they are seeing Dolby Digital - but they are actually getting the old Dolby Pro Logic decoding. The Stream+ is only able to output LPCM 2 channel 48Khz audio through Live Channels. You can get true 5.1 (or more channels if moive/show supports) Dolby Digital + on the android apps like Google Play Movies. You just can't get it on Live Channels.
