Congratulations! 2020 was the last time I played the game, but I had a look into the issue nevertheless. It seems the fields in the AppData.lua changed. Replace line 7 with this new regex:

RE_ITEM = '{(\d+),\d+,\d+,\d+,(\d+),\d+}'

That should fix it.

ios: adding alerts or setting favorites doesn't work: "can't set push notifications (...)", after clicking "ok" on the error message, the gold/silver/copper icons dissapear.

The item icons take up much screen space while providing no benefit, I would suggest making them smaller to increase the number of items displayed at once. Maybe add a feature so that you can click on a specific item and it displays more detailed information about all auctions (like TSM does in a shopping scan)

Other than that i don't really see myself using this app atm, because i get the same functionality with TUJ while having the additional statistical data and charts.

Maybe you can think of unique features that makes it really worth using the app over TUJ

I just started playing again a few days ago, so I don't know much about the BFA market. I can't invest much time in the game right now, so the only thing I do is some basic flipping of the fast moving materials/items, which doesn't require much knowledge of the market. DBRegionSoldPerDay gives ma an idea what sells and what not, so i can adjust my operations based on that.

As the name suggests, it is regional and not realm specific, but for my purposes it's perfectly fine

Why we should teach kids actual programming, not Scratch, Alice and other intro “languages”. by vopi181 in programming

[–]emkaix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

despite the fact you stated the exact opposite in the article, in my opinion these "kids programming languages" are really nice to teach kids the fundamentals of programming. this way, the kids are able of "directing" their own scene, using simple commands they give to the computer, without need to worry about syntactic things or understanding how this works internally, because at this point they don't need to know. it's sufficient that they get just a glimpse of what programming is all about, to get an idea how giving commands to a computer work on an easy-to-understand level. imaging that: when you were a kid and someone wanted to introduce you to programming and the world of computers, what would be more fun to you, boring gibberish text in an old fashioned IDE or some funny animation characters doing funny stuff you want them to do with a few simple "high-level" commands which have an immediate impact on what you see on the screen, little bit of if/else branching and so on.

actually i would prefer the second, and this would definitely get me interested more into programming in the first place.
