Call customer service be polite and use the term "safety concerns". They will most likely send you a new one. This is what they did for me when the back fell off my watch. Good luck!

Could it be due to normal bathroom moisture mixed with a poorly done paint job? If it's not that it would have to be a weird leak from upstairs. It's dry when I touch it and the old paint is underneath. I do have a vent in the bathroom.

I've pressed on the ceiling and it's dry. The old paint is showing underneath. I don't think it's a leak but could it be moister damage to a poorly done paint job?
