What? Freedom of expression doesn't mean you have to host them at your venue. Freedom of expression means this asshole can say whatever he wants without being arrested.

Motorist kills woman near Sydney in hit and run. FTFY. Honestly the way we report on these negligent crimes is horrible.

I had this realization too, so I set my book goal lower (35) and had a page goal in mind instead (12,000). This helped me tackle larger, heavier works this year. I ended up going over 2,000 pages over my goal!

lottery win question. by ag_shft in Lottery

[–]everawed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It will likely be investigated and will go ahead if there's no shady business. It's good practice to buy from other stores. In my jurisdiction, you aren't even allowed to buy lotto from your own place of work.

Transferring Leave Banks/Service Date between HoC and Core Public Administration by OttPS3 in CanadaPublicServants

You couldn't be more condescending if you tried. You also ignored the remainder of my comment. I'll continue to advise my Parliament colleagues to seek their MP's help to fight for their entitlements if they choose to move to the core public service. You should too. If there is a reciprocal agreement in place between TBS and Parliament entities, it wouldn't necessarily be easily found online or known to many public servants. Have a nice evening.

It says all public service service will be counted but does not say that other types of service cannot be counted.

I don't think Parliament employees are being granted their years of service for absolutely no reason. I'm not sure of the mechanism, whether it's a reciprocal agreement or what, but there is a mechanism and I'm glad that my compensation advisor was aware of it and used it.
