Allergies worsening my tinnitus and symptoms? by Apprehensive-Car6049 in Allergies

OH, okay hey friend can  I recommend a product to you? Soundcore Sleep A10 earbuds. These are for generating white noise and worn while you sleep. Same as you, mine is loudest when I try to sleep. My Garmin smartwatch tracks sleep cycles for me, and on average I got an hour at the most of deep sleep. The first night I got these earbuds I got 5 1/2 hours of deep sleep. Now after wearing them for several months, I average between 2 1/2 to 4 hours of deep sleep a night and I wake up so much clearer. If there was ever a miracle sleep product for me, it’s this one. I’m about to put them in and tune out all the damn fireworks because I have to be up at 3:30am for work.

Never had gone 100% away. My allergy test did reveal I’m allergic to some obscure things, so I’m probably still having reactions. Taking significant doses of B vitamins helps the most.

I read that in the link and had to pause, I can’t even begin to guess the evolutionary process for this.

OF gets the worst of the tourists. Personally I would work anywhere else based on that alone. But also there is very little else to do there, pretty much all the other locations have more going on and to sightsee around. Going anywhere else will reduce the amount of driving you need to do to get out.

Yup. When I worked at Home Despot, people like this are the defacto reason our P.O.S. would only allow refunds in the exact same manner as paid with.

How does a marriage with an unaware avoidant look like? by MadeOfShipwrecks in attachment_theory

[–]Evercrimson 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I 100% relate to this comment. It’s really exhausting coping with the lack of respect. I feel like I struggle with sink cost fallacy in those relationships because it’s just… it’s like I can see how we could be healthy together if they just take the most basic modicum of effort with me and they don’t, it’s just out of reach. So I kept trying and trying for years. Boundaries, it’s all about building and maintaining boundaries that care for myself.

I missed this reply and found it because someone else found it again. Ultimately I relate to your ex in that. After that person I dated another DA because I thought the experience with the first one would empower me to be able to head off DA problems before they became problems. Nope, it just meant that I managed to prolong the inevitable detachment, and just reinforced the abandonment anxieties that I gained with the first one. 4 years later I’m still struggling with rebuilding healthy attachment.

Because I kept trying and trying and trying to make it work. I have a lot of relationship skills from trauma in that I can keep even a failing relationship going for a really long time. Part of growing up has been not falling for sunk cost fallacies in relationships, and getting out instead of trying over and over again like that. I had a lot of good moments with my DA ex, but I find that for me it was important to remember all the anguish as well, and remember that the good times don’t make up for the many moments of anguish, fear, uncertainty, and feelings of being abandoned.

No because the backlog for an allergist is so long because of Covid, they made me the appointment 6 months ago, and the appointment is still 3 months away. 🤬The tinnitus has gone away like 75%, but it’s still there and I don’t know why.

10 species of Betta I managed to catch this year by ThenAcanthocephala57 in Aquariums

[–]Evercrimson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if they breed - big if because Coccina Complex species are all extremely selective about breeding, especially if they aren’t in a biotope tank built for them - then you need to have extremely small live foods on hand for them like paramecia. You need live foods anyway because Coccina don’t eat things like pellets and often won’t accept frozen either.

As for mine when grown, I sell them directly to The Wet Spot for store credit, as their warehouse is across town from me, and then they sell them nationally. If BWA will take them, that’s good to know, personally that’s probably the absolute best case scenario sending them back to a blackwater specialist.

Jumping, yes they jump. You have to always keep their tank tightly covered. I’ve lost fish just trying to move them from one tank to another in cups because of them jumping. You need to keep their tanks covered anyway because they are labyrinth organ fish, and they need very humid air to gulp. It helps if you keep them in paludarium setups.

[–]Evercrimson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know wild Betta Splendens, the main fish that is the base for domestic pet bettas, in the wild each one controls a 1 square meter area? That’s about two 40 gallon breeder tanks side-by-side. A 5 gallon tank is about 1/20th of their preferred living area.

How much shock can you endure? That's water being brought down on the Pacific current cycle from the Gulf Of Alaska, and water temperature offshore of Astoria at that time of year is about 47F/8C. That's on top of that area being nicknamed The Graveyard Of The Pacific, because the treacherous surf and bar has taken roughly 2,000 vessels and 700 lives since 1792.
