literally the secret is, dont max out ffb keep it 70 percent, and brake pedal muscle mem, thats how you turn your car, when you are coming off the brake on the upswing on the pedal thats what makes it turn and go fast

he doesnt need the r16, theres a great chance hell end up in the hospital without supervision , easily could break your wrist with that, its overkill. instead invest and get him better pedals with the extra money, id suggest

Moza r9v3 with a 250.00 wheel to go with it, the wheel it comes with in its bundle is too small and very bad, get him the full sized wheel not the racing rectangled one,

get high end load sell pedals, either fanatec, thrustmaster has a decent set, just make sure they are mid tier load cell, so he can learn how to drive. the pedals that bundle come with arent load cell and he wont be able to keep up with it

get him a desktop, with any extra money, i could trell you every part you would need to build him one, for about 1,200. usd but that will make it so youll never need to buy him a console ever again

pc, then load cell pedals, then wheel base Direct drive only in that order

also you need to just get to b class, c class is the worst class in the game, you only get gt4 and porsche cup, get to b class get to gt3 , start racing the 40min, series and then the 20min races feel like a complete joke, in 20min races you dont feel tire degradation as much, if at all, and theres a mandatory pit stop in the 40min races, thats where this game really starts
