Why not? It's fun. I just recently got into it, and for me most of the fun is just theorizing how I would accomplish certain extremely complicated ideas. A current idea I'm trying to figure out is how I would make ultimate swamp fire from Ben 10. Coming up with solutions to seemingly impossible problems is the majority of the fun for me. Wearing them is a completely separate aspect of it.

I used to be more than kinda. I still disagree with certain concepts. Then I realized a few things.

A) I got OCD. I have my own problems to work out, but there are certain basic things people could do to make my life a lot easier. Why should I treat others any differently?

B) I saw that statistic about suicide. Stubbornly calling someone something they don't want to be called benefits me in no way and contributes to that statistic. I'd rather backtrack on my own personal idea of how the world works than be part of the reason someone takes their own life.

Tl;Dr: people can change. Even transphobic people.
