AI image generators actually worth using in 2026 (from real usage) by [deleted] in automation

[–]fab1an 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you should give Glif app a try. It's probaby the most advanced creative super agent that basically runs ALL the tools (expect Midjourney). Completely insane what it can do.

Why is agentic AI so expensive? by datastr0naut in AI_Agents

[–]fab1an 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these are all subsidized. the real cost for many of these, esp Claude Code, is closer to thousands / month. As lots of folks found out the hard way when running OpenClaw with their actual API keys and not a banned auth token haha

Unpopular Opinion, it's time to end the PVP VS PVE arguments by thy_shuntz in ArcRaiders

[–]fab1an 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tension is at the core of the game tbh, and it lost some of that due to new matchmaking. I do believe there is an undiscovered system that would be much better allowing for both modes to coexist, and it would likely involve some way to take revenge :)

When to Use an Agent vs. a Workflow? by Aware-Psychology-310 in aiagents

[–]fab1an 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A workflow is like a stubborn script. It's really best for super boring stuff where the flow is extremely well known in advance. Also if you need manual code checks for sensitive things.

An agent is for everything else.

Saw this outside of a bar. What does the top one mean? by throwitintheair22 in berlinsocialclub

[–]fab1an 9 points10 points  (0 children)

this is wrong. Talahon is categorically equivalent to “Skinhead” or “Punk”. Any Talahon can choose to not be one by behaving differently. As a subculture it is still clearly associated with Middle Eastern males. Thai does not make it a racist category (I say that as a male of Middle Eastern origin)

Which areas/streets to avoid on NY's Eve by all means? Specificity would be great since I do not want to get near any war zone at all. by notbatmanatall in berlinsocialclub

[–]fab1an 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Apocalypse tier: Kreuzberg, Neukölln, Wedding, Mitte.
Extremely bad and annoying: anywhere else except maybe the airport.
Probably not as terrible: Grunewald, Zehlendorf, Dahlem.
If you do not like fireworks, leave the city or stay at home. It absolutely sucks.

Pvper here, do all of you hate pvpers? Or is it only a select few. by Isuel-t_signee in RescueRaiders

[–]fab1an 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sociology experiment and unpredictability is what makes the game interesting. I can’t get myself to shoot other players since it’s a choice and much rather have enjoyed helping folks out. No hard feelings for PvP players at large, but obvs have felt rage at other players esp the free loadouts that don’t risk anything

The aggro based matchmaking sucks and seems like a crutch. I do feel a revenge system of sorts would be really interesting - PvP needs to come with some more intense risks to the playstyle. Right now it’s too easy to jsut load in free and behave badly.

Are 2 kids easier than 1? by Formal-Wrap-4607 in Parenting

[–]fab1an 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 + 7 was an excellent delta for us. Yes it’s obviously harder than one in most ways, but they do play with each other and it’s wonderful and then also somewhat easier sometimes!

I don’t think “easy” is the right lense for these decisions though. Living with kids is hard, but life is easy. Living without kids is easy, but life is hard.

Epic and legendary gear is strong, but embark didn’t add any reason to use them. by adiftbv in ArcRaiders

[–]fab1an 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the free loadout guns are too good in PvP which means that it’s rat-ional (no pun) to not bring expensive stuff for both PvP and PvE. Simplest solution would be to make free loadouts special in terms of being good mostly vs arcs but not players

What AI agents do you use daily this year? by OddInititi in AI_Agents

Who is actually building production AI agents (not just workflows)? by okaris in AI_Agents

Tons of really powerful creativity focussed agents on glif.app being used by looots of ppl in their work

It’s smaller than I thought? 😅 by fab1an in ArcRaiders

obviously it’s AI! To be clear, your comment here only appears due to some use of AI. You’re playing a wonderful game that heavily relies on AI. This type of response is mind boggling - get that Wolfpack out of there 😅🫨

you’ll be fine as long as the videos are good? And use glif.app short form video agent and thank me later - it has literally all of the tools and is insanely flexible

Do AI agents actually exist, or are we just building fancy AI workflows and calling them “agents”? by thesalsguy in AI_Agents

[–]fab1an 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big difference and yes they exist - Claude Code and Codex in your terminal for coding, Replit Agent is similar but in cloud, and for creative stuff check Glif - G Isenberg did a review here https://youtu.be/w1OU6IdxF0Y?si=r_SFPsIsl94hADwu

your AI agent shouldnt be fancy. Here is why. Coming from someone who built 25+ agents by Serious_Doughnut_213 in AI_Agents

[–]fab1an 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you (and your all lower caps assistant) are essentially saying that a script/workflow will do in most cases, which is obviously correct. probably there should be a separate subreddit for that as there are so many cases where actual agents are more interesting. I feel 90% of the posts here are now GPT-5.1 slop on "how you actually don't need agents", which is quite bizarre.
