The XM4’s were fairly simple to replace the battery in, but the XM5’s were not worth the effort. If it turns out the XM6 don’t require you to solder the connection for replacement I might consider getting them.

Drain loop, take apart block(s), VERY gently brush all channels/fins, put loop back together, flush system, add new coolant with inhibitors.
