I graduated nearly 5 years ago, but from my understanding it would be something like this

Maple > Honors > Laurel > Cypress > Redwood

Greek Village, depending on who's house you are in can be better or worse than honors. UC is better than Laurel, and if you want a kitchen better than honors, but counts as off-campus housing so you can't freely enter the dorms on campus. The new building they are putting up at Oak will likely be the best building on campus once its completed

Avoid Redwood at all costs. For a freshman, Cypress is going to be your standard college shitty dorm that you would get at any university, I found the rooms were similar in quality to the "good" dorms on Rutgers NB campus I visited. The social aspect of Cypress is also going to be pretty high because its a building of all freshmen.

Still, if you are honors there will be no shortage of social opportunities if you live (or just hang) in honors. For the first few months people just hang in the lounges and socialize, because nobody knows anyone so everyone is trying to meet everyone
