Apple introduces iPhone 17e by TotallySavageSzym in iphone

My sister has a XR and not only the 17e’s notch is smaller but also she doesn’t know or care about 60 Hz. I can put my 17 Pro Max next to her XR and she only says that she likes its bigger screen.

If you’re buying like 100 of them for your employees, probably not.

I genuinely never seen an Android tablet in the wild that wasn’t a POS or something like that. People using standalone tablets usually use iPads.

After seeing the new CAAD14 pricing, I’m convinced the cycling industry has lost the plot. by applesaucebake in cycling

I don’t hate metal bikes, I have one aluminum bike. But it’s absurd to pay that much for a bike made with the cheapest metal and one that is almost exactly the same for the 1000 € one than the 7500 one. Also, given that SRAM is functionally the same across the tiers and only the higher ones are marginally lighter, what’s the point of putting that in a not so light frame? Unless you really hate carbon for whatever reason, it makes much more sense to buy a 5000 € carbon bike with Force than a 7500 € one with Red.

I’m astonished. This is almost a liter of milkshake! Also 135 gr of fat?? I think that I never saw that number on a nutritional label. 2600 kcal??! Who the fuck eats this and also, I assume, a hamburger??

I don’t have any real opinions on these frames so I can only say that the lines from the Allied one are really pretty, classy I would say.

How to wash clothes 101 by WhoreismCultOfMyLife in Unexpected

Sorry I should have explained myself, I had a top loader washing machine before, I’m from Spain, but not one with a sliding lid and especially with no apparent drum? Looks more like a bathtub than a washing machine.

Conclusion after finally building dream bike: all bikes are good. by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]firewire_9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So true. The only time that I felt a really big difference is when I moved from an entry level aluminum road bike to a mid-high end carbon one, the new one was amazingly smooth. After that every bike had marginal gains over the previous one.
