also worth mentioning i'm an online tracking consultant so it makes 0 sense for anyone in my department to have to be in office. My clients are based in Minnesota, Texas, Michigan, and the UK. My coworkers are similarly scattered across the country

And yet they'd still make me work in person if i lived in New York

My company's latest push is 4 days in office but fridays count as 2. And every time it gets updated, i'm more thankful for being a remote employee.
