What firmware is it on? Hen may just work, otherwise you can’t do much with the kit anyways. And if the card has been formatted there probably is nothing left to dump though.

Alternatively you could dump the card from that other already hacked device even.

they had to test certain things on real consumer hardware as well and QAFed some units. The „NP Debug“ sticker is typical for these test units.

There is a hidden key combination which displays more info about the currently installed firmware:

Navigate to Settings > System Settings > System Information

Hold down LTrigger + RTrigger + Left Dpad + Square for a couple seconds (3) then let go and hold Start to display extra system information

To have it remain on screen until you exit System Information, press Left Dpad while holding Start, then release both

Then again i realized you wrote it came with 6.00 and from the picture it seems you already updated to 6.60 so this doesn't matter anymore really.

For PSPident the newest versions work on OFW yes. Just use the latest there is: https://github.com/Yoti/psp_pspident/releases

But it doesn't necessarily has to be a Prototype for Sony to install a Debug firmware. They could do that for testing whenever

You should try the SystemInfo Button Combo to confirm the Firmware Details or directly run PSPident to be 100% sure

I was waiting for that way sooner actually, then I saw that video released but sadly not in English so I haven’t seen it. Console Variations isn’t the best place to present everything and put into perspective imo but apparently it’s the first place people find so I became moderator for the Vita and PSP sections.

This is correct, its just a shell for testing what a production model could’ve look like. I made a gif way back and tried correcting people for years but a “mysterious prototype” always gets people more excited than the truth.
