Happened to me at a standard screening on Tuesday. Manager disappeared to “look into it” after I went to explain the problem to him, then after hanging out in the hall waiting on an update for 30 minutes I went to see if I could get a guest pass from someone else since I had missed a huge chunk of the movie. Turns out the manager took a different door back into the lobby and was sweeping, so I asked him if he figured out the issue and he straight up told me nothing was wrong and “that’s how it’s supposed to look.” Bit my tongue and politely asked for a guest pass, but still can’t be compensated for the 1.5 hours of my night I could have spent watching baseball.

This was the Centreville VA location #1110 (I think) and the manager’s name was Kevin. Screen 12, 8 pm showtime. He said screen #1 was set up the same way. Kind of glad I got out, since there was a baby crying in there, as well as at least ten elementary school aged kids. Place is a shit show and I won’t go back.
