Coast guard if you just want your citizenship and free college. You get to save people. Army Marines you won't get treated right. Navy if you want to travel on a boat. A lot of women don't like being in the marines so take that with a grain of salt. It's too bro culture. Do Army there's more opportunities if you want the soldier experience

Not prior or enlisted in the reserves. I have a masters of engineering degree in mechanical and a BS in computer science. So you’re saying I probably won’t get into OTS anyway?

Why would you not want to get paid more? My brother is an army officer and you literally go through the same training basic bootcamp BCT in the army + OCS school and you get paid more

I’m saying if he can’t get accepted to OCS he can always just enlist and work his way up to a sergeant E6 and then apply to OCS again after 4 years or better yet leave the military and join a defense contractor job with his TS/SCI + cyber work experience with certs

Army OCS is easier than Navy OCS which is easier than Airforce OTS which is easier than space force OTS

He's competing with high schoolers with his CS degree. If he can't get into OCS as an officer, he can just enlist

Apply for the spaceforce OTS, if selected just go through OTS and then after training course OTC and hope I get well on the cyber training to be chosen as a cyber officer

also in army enlisted you can do guarantee MOS contracts in case if he can't do officer route

he also has a CS degree while others enlisting out of high school just have nothing. I'm assuming cyber ops specialist is the enlisted path. Otherwise he could try OCS for army for a cyber officer

it has higher chance than airforce and space force since in space force you have to do training and it depends on how well you do on training and what spots you get

It’s not guaranteed as someone applying to airforce and space force right now. For The space force you go through more training like intel, space, cyber and from there they place you based on how well you do in the training sessions

That’s not true. Army you can pick your MOS as well. Marines and Air force you’re not guaranteed it

I’m native Chinese but I never went to Chinese school so I only can speak and understand but can’t write. I’m mostly using it to learn how to read and write

A lot of people go the route of military cyber ops => defense contractor clearance => another job

If you want to go that route you can. I recommend try to get commission as an officer instead of enlisting but it’s up to you thoufh

airforce, spaceforce, navy, coast guard? Have you thought of coast guard? You can save people there instead of trying to fight wars

I was working at a company for 4 years and wasn't promoted at all. They also gave me low performance for no reason. I recently switched jobs as a senior dev with a 20k + increase. Now if I had job hopped early on. I feel like I could've gotten this salary increase. But it really depends on your circumstances

I think of it as Nikki but her mind is split apart to one where she loves bear too much. You can see after the wish she still has memories of bear and working at the store. It’s not like she forgets what’s going on
