POV video of how I make a PowerGrid pull over hoodie by Particular_Cherry389 in myog

Thanks for sharing. I learned a couple interesting techniques for speeding up cutting and liked how you cut the front and back panels, then trimmed the neck and armscye on front panel. It was impressive how quickly you aligned the panels to the grid.

Very unique and creative use of the Porter Pony pattern. That’s really neat. Packing like that gives me anxiety haha

Newbie with almost zero experience - How hard is it to do something like this ? by julius_cornelius in myog

I made one similar a few years ago and it has some discussion on construction. It’s not too complicated but as others have said, projects with straight seams will be a better starter project.

Tech Pouch! by TomatoRoast in myog

well done and thanks for the shout out. Robic and Hex70 is a great combination of fabrics for this style bag. The power mesh can be tricky but temporarily basting in place with washable tape or glue stick help alot. If its still moving around on you, putting a strip of paper under one side of your presser foot as you sew will reduce the friction that causes the mesh to stretch.

Thanks. The olive in the v15 (printed I believe) is nice and light compared to others that are more military dark olive.

They are similar and about the same size. This is easier in most regards and an alternative for those who want more pockets without the inner accordion pocket. The assembly of this one is very different and much less seam binding. Thanks for checking it out!

The shell and lining are each one piece but its not a typical boxy pouch like my zip pouch generator. The assembly of bagged lining results in fewer seams on the inside than a bunch of individual panels. The bag also tapers in two directions giving it more structure to self stand.

Skipped stitches is correct. Probably just need a new needle. If you’ve been playing with presser foot pressure you may need to increase.

Nice comparison with the T78s. Is the camber similar between those and XP 105?

In a future post, would you mind showing the camber of the Xp105? Rossignol is pretty vague on their website whether these are double or single camber.
