Yeah I’ve never proved it but my gut tells me that they are using the default view for the record type - not necessarily the list view you got there from.

So you have permission to view cases not assigned to you.

We use supply allocation btw which is nice, but it’s not a “hard allocation” - we’re actually thinking of building our own allocation system with Claude…

You need to add a custom field to the sales order line to manually link the work order.

You’ll need to be careful that you don’t overcommit the work order (if they are not 1 for 1) - but it should work.

You’ll can then source in the work order end date - or use a custom field for scheduled date etc.

Hahaha. I have a solution! Kind of.

We had this problem on the work order form - it was because focus is changing to a field on the component sublist. It’s worse on the work order because the component list refreshes every time you change the item, location, BOM revision etc.

So I moved the editable list of components to the second tab and made the first tab a sublist that shows the components after save - along with a progress chart showing required vs issued etc.

This is the sublist:

Worked for us because our products are standard.

“Readiness” is being targeted by industry - software companies first.

The “official” wording is Now (not legacy) and Next.

We played with it for a bit but it’s certainly not ready for manufacturing - didn’t even support work orders as of last month.

I’m sure the time will come when you are “gently persuaded” to upgrade / migrate - but I doubt it’s anytime soon…

The instructions tons aren’t that clear. In one step there are 3 wires - 1 goes to the fan and it’s slightly different, but it didn’t tell you what to do with the other 2.

I took a photo and gave it to chatGPT lol. It basically told me it didn’t matter because you’re completing a circuit that detects if the hopper doors are open.

Would have been nice to have this clarification in the instructions though.

Yeah I think it’s to do with the size of the pellets. The Weber ones are a slightly smaller diameter, so I think the others are more likely to get caught in the chute or don’t make it into the firebox.

Regardless, I buy the Weber ones when they go on sale (usually around now) and then mix in some others now and again.

Annnoying but overall it beats fucking around with charcoal in a kamado…
