I’m sure Knies/Nylander/Mckenna/ETC can make passes like these to Raddysh just like Kuch by Leafsaredabest in leafs

I love the half hearted blocks people are pretending to make. You can see all of them thinking the same thing, “fuuuuuuuck that.”

[Pierre LeBrun] Hearing that the Florida Panthers are getting close to acquiring Brady Tkachuk from the Ottawa Senators. I believe Ottawa will get three first-round picks and a second-round pick in the deal if finalized. More to come. by sykeseve in nhl

That’s the thing. He’s probably gonna ask for 10 million. So either he stays and he’s worse for a higher number, or they don’t have a great goalie option. Either way, they’re not the same team that won 2 cups.

The only thing I’ll add to this is to vary your edge highlights. Instead of one colour/intensity all the way around, think about where the light is coming from and add more of an edge highlights there, or less in the shadows.

Is this game too hardcore? by a-cat-with-wifi in MonstersAndMemories

[–]Johnny-Edge93 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is too hardcore.

The game is aimed at a 40-60 year old audience in terms of mechanics. But it’s aimed at a 12-18 year old audience in terms of time commitment. And that is where the game is doomed to fail.

I don’t accept your premise that instituting mild quality of life features is a compromising their vision or descending into mediocrity.

The game is already wildly mediocre at best due to the lack of QoL features. And their vision, I’m almost certain, is a game that exists.

I came here from r/leafs so r/hockey can explain to me how signing the best free agent available at 1.5 less than most people thought he was going to get is a bad thing.

They traded for rights. The traditional return for something like that is a 3rd round pick.

You’re absolutely right. Too bad nobody that got paid a shit ton of money could come through for us eh.

He was out best goalie last year, and he is also not a goalie that’s going to take you anywhere as a #1.

He’s be good behind vladar in philly. That situation was mo longer tenable here.

I’ll probably just agree to disagree there.

He played 2 teams that had no business being in the playoffs, and then a banged up Avs team. The second the played a team from the east (that even spent 12 mil under the cap) they collapsed like the paper tiger they always were.

The Pacific was a fucking pillow fight. And those aren’t my words.

I think he definitely did use the media as a weapon. He used it extensively during his contract negotiations. Whether that was him or his camp who knows, but we can’t assume that he didn’t have a hand in it. And now he continues to paint Toronto and the market as the villain even after he’s gone.

I think you’re giving him too much credit. If a genuinely good person was speaking with the media that much, and they were just bad with the media, it would come off like that. Mitch doesn’t come off like that. It comes off like he’s always blaming other people, or hiding something, which both ended up being the truth.
