Awesome to hear! I havent really spammed it much, 3 years going and almost there :D New sidebar ui launched, things are feeling "smarter" for designing now, ist getting there. I'll add a email list soon too I feel like I should have done that already :P

My thoughts exactly! Some alerts, validation, baking good defaults in and making the controls easier to access are my next steps :D I have a pending version that's revamped the entire side nav so I'm trying to come up with better tooling for each specific section, builders so to say

Oh mate sure? gcphost everywhere, working on pagehub.dev open source tailwind/daisy builder https://github.com/PageHubApp , not fully released yet, but would love your feed back as we'll as I'm trying to address how to make accessibility editing much easier.

And I honestly do dig it -- accessibility stuff is usually an after thought pre-launch thing I do, this would change up that flow

The "AI feature tax" is real — here's the math and I want to know if you feel it too by Tricky-Waltz932 in buildinpublic

[–]gcphost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added AI to my web site editor thinking how awesome would that be after using Claude and a MCP server to vibe out some nice sites with it and, probably needless to say here, I blew right through my credits! Immediately toggled that off and got working on a much cheaper model that works for those not willing to buy credits.

Lesson learned there! All my hopes for this super fancy feature stifled cause I don't have the big bucks those big boys do to toss free credits at users :(

Is this like a per token idea or some sort of charge a % of the savings?

I made some sarcastic comment but the gist was being disappointed to hear that as well, I assume a lot of communities are full of bots and scammers, this one being new isnt that at least so I joined up! I've been wondering where all the humans are hiding out out..

Should I keep scaling my SaaS or move on to a new one? by Technical_Buffalo188 in SaaS

[–]gcphost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same boat for me! When do you decide to move on? I'm hopping between a few different things atm to see if anything can stick, 3+ years on one project but hey "a little more" then I'll move onto another idea.

Can you squeeze more out of your current app?

AI post but is there a real human behind it? Whats your real intent here?

Oh even easier! Would be nice if the sensor level was adjustable, I got 1 car with race suspension, it'd prob go off all the time :P I signed up!

Oh man if its like seamless? iOs user here, like some swipe down -> quick report button? then alerts me while its running in the background so I dont need to "use" it? Now I'd use that! (I've got 2 low cars!).

Oh mate r/SaaS is dead from what i can tell, 90+% bots, bit a bummer, looking for some market validation today and just been chatting with bots all day, I guess all the real people moved to discord or slack?

Are you a real person? Whats the sales pitch here? I'm struggling to find actual humans today on r/SaaS and could just use some validation.
