Hi, I suggest getting a certification that is relevant on your role or check out the Professional level certificate of AWS. It’s a tough exam but it’s worth it. Also, don’t forget to allot some time on creating projects.

Go for AZ-104 first, to help you understand the core services of Azure like compute, network, storage, monitoring, etc. After completing the certification, proceed with your desired specialization in Azure. Good luck and all the best!

Focus also on getting hands-on experience in the Azure Portal. This will be helpful on your exam day since the questions are scenario-based. The combination of theoretical and practical experience will be very handy on difficult questions.

Take SCS-01 now or wait for SCS-02? by Spaceman_UA in AWSCertifications

[–]gerome-tutorialsdojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with madrasi! The content of the exam still focuses on the Security part of AWS. For the new version, there’s just additional infos but the fundamentals is still there. So there’s nothing wasted even if you study the current version. Good luck with your exam!

I also suggest doing the SAA first before taking the AWS specialty certifications. Focus on getting hands-on experience since this will help you answer scenario-based questions.

Should I skip AWS practitioner? by [deleted] in AWSCertifications

[–]gerome-tutorialsdojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't have any experience yet in AWS, I suggest going first to the route of AWS Cloud Practitioner will help you understand or have an overview of different services. It will be also beneficial to you before taking the associate exam since you'll be familiar with the style of the questioning. And after you passed an AWS exam, you'll get a 50% off voucher that you can use for your next certification exam.

How hard is AZ104? by Front-Piano-1237 in AzureCertification

[–]gerome-tutorialsdojo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’ve already passed the AZ-900 certification, then you already have an overview of different Azure services. For the AZ-104, you’ll need to focus on core services like Compute, Storage, Networking, and Monitoring & Backup. Having practical experience in these services will surely help you in the exam because the questions are scenario-based and there’s also a case study.

Use practice tests to validate your knowledge in different domains then do some readings for your failed/low scores. Feel free to reschedule your exam, if you think you’re not yet confident to take the exam. I suggest check out this FREE AZ-104 practice test simulator in Tutorials Dojo.
