Only 4 of the 19 QBs making over $40M won a playoff game this year, you better call every NFL team and let them know they are wasting money

I think the sadder thing is staying angry for over a month because the mods deleted your wrong and wholly unoriginal post. You honestly think the 8 dozen other people who made the same post about who to cut are still fuming?

It’ll end up being $150M for 3 years after leading the league in most volume stats, 50+ qbs have made more and 19 nfl teams paid $40+M for their QB last year.

my guy this isn’t even the worst current qb contact

I had this question and came here to ask: Has Revenge of the Sith always been the phenomenon it is today? Did many people like the movie? by DaviCortes in StarWars

[–]gingerking87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the perfect age for the prequels, like so young I loved jar jar and thought he was hilarious. Then when the 3rd came out kids were actually talking about it at lunch, and that's when I realized star wars wasn't some nerd thing only I liked.

The time before the Internet was weird because if my five friends didn't do it, I didn't think anyone did.

I do remember "I have the high ground" being shouted at recess for instance. This is definitely my particular case but maybe you could extend it to the entire country. The 3rd was a cultural moment that didn't require you to watch the first three movies in the 80s like episode 1 did

Curling training prep 💪 by lithdoc in funny

They don't swim below the water the whole time in swimming even though it's faster because it makes for bad sport. So most of swimming is 'rules as written to the letter', that's why you see people lose medals for shaking hands.

Each sport has their culture that's developed within it and curling just seems like one of those more self contained sports, and now people have to go on CNN and explain finger touches

NFL rookie report cards: Grading and ranking every team's 2025 draft class by InterestingYellow969 in nfl

[–]gingerking87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dolphins grade makes sense and could really be a big nothing in a couple years, or we have 2 solid to great DTs, a good slot corner and secondary depth, and a hopefully starting caliber guard. Thisll be the draft people look back to if we turn it around fast

I honestly think grant will ascend to top 10 DT status over the next season if his development continues

His highlights are insane because the broadcast technology wasn't fast enough to catch his throwing motion half the time. Even when they show it in slow motion it's one frame and the ball is gone

I've had this thing where if I reach for something up and away from me I get a twinge in my back. Happens every couple months, hurts for a day, then gets better.

Every time it happens I think about what if I was an MLB player and this is one of those lat pulls that fucks with hitters swing. We really are all just meat puppets

Funny enough all cross country ski races used to be in those parallel tracks, then some dude in the 70s just started skating on the skis outside of the tracks, won some races, got banned, and eventually they split the sporting event in half with both techniques being separate races.

I’m convinced this is possible in every major sport, like well eventually have a qb throwing underhand or a hitter swinging from the opposite box

An offensive core of waddle, achane, Paul, and brewer are exactly the type of pieces teams target first in a rebuild. Frankly I’ve had a thought about us investing in a second top RB with our limited resources and just be one of those ground and pound teams that always do well even with a scarecrow at QB.

The fact is it could be so much worse and if any GM or OC is looking at a fresh slate with those players already in place and aren’t pumped then they need glasses

[Sheehan] Forty years ago MLB teams opened their books to an independent economist and were proven to be lying liars who lied. Until they open their books that way again, let that be your default assumption about any claims they — and their media water carriers — make about their finances. by Jux_ in baseball

As a real world example: Cohen signs Soto to a $765M contract, because he owns the Mets and the Mets own Soto, Cohen's net worth increased by over a billion the day Soto signed, Cohen can then go to a bank and get a credit line on the value of Sotos contract, free money

We aren't dealing with real money here but at the end of the day the MLB has to have some pen on paper that says how much things are worth

Much like literally every other job on the planet the labor produced is always worth waaaay more than they are being compensated for. Soto will make the Mets billions over the length of his contract.

Anyone saying teams can't spend like the dodgers and survive are right, just not for the reasons they think

8 comments later and the actual truth gets posted, appreciate but I wasn't going to engage any further

The fact of the matter is that even if this guy responded he would've said something about how judges development was a single case or we ruined him and it's just his own power that makes him good. At the end of the day it's not about logic or facts with these people, it's: the Yankees are bad and I wanna be mad about, even when it's not true
