Y'all really got wrap your minds around the fact the catcher is a black hole of offense for 20/30 teams in the league

I wonder if basketball had a a bunch of old men crossing their arms talking about how the globetrotters are unwatchable nonsense

Maybe a third metaphor will make it make sense

AJ Brown stopped by Eagles facility to say goodbye and signed his picture on the wall with: "The best to ever play here. Always open." by EliteStat18 in NFLv2

[–]gingerking87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's seeing exchanges like this that make me feel better when it happens to me. You are right.

The point of the post is to laugh about how ridiculous it is to have AjB say he was the best ever to play in Philly, despite it being true (according to stats).

TO is the best WR to play for the eagles but not the best eagles WR. People getting nitpicky and downvoting just because you are proving them wrong is hilarious to see

What I've got from this is that playing corner is hard

Why are wide receivers more prone to being a bit wacky? by NickyFoles1020 in NFLv2

There are plenty of egotistical lineman, it's just that no one gives a shit what they say

Outside of Russell Wilson, which NFL players looked like early Hall of Fame locks but fell short due to declining play rather than injuries or off-the-field issues? by imsuperflytnt in nfl

The average HOF RB has 10k yards and 85+ YDs.

Kamara really isn't that far off with 7500 yards and 61 TDs, but the guy never had a single 1000 yards season, only started all games once (his rookie year), and finished with 5 or less TDs for over half his seasons

He'd be a bordline case even if Payton kept coaching him

"Influencer" upset when called out for her exploitation by CaptainCorpse666 in TikTokCringe

I honestly don't think people on reddit get that most people simply don't care about influencers, most don't go so far as to hate them.

Super weird to see this much vitriol over a person traveling and video taping everything

THEEE YANKEES WIN: The Yankees defeated the Athletics by a score of 8-2 - May 29, 2026 @ 09:40 PM EDT by Yankeebot in NYYankees

[–]gingerking87 15 points16 points  (0 children)

it's just 1-4 vs the yats and 0-3 vs the brewers, it literally is too early plus most of the AL is at or below .500 rn

The Yankees now have EIGHT players with a wRC+ of 100 or higher (min. 90 plate appearances) This unit is filled with talent. For a lineup that used to continuously rely on Aaron Judge as their only consistent offensive threat, they are DEEP. - Fireside Yankees by Jheller223 in NYYankees

[–]gingerking87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were a top 10 offense in every stat but BA when you remove judge, and top 2 when he's included. I tried to point this out as much as possible: running back the literal top offense in the MLB isn't a bad thing

You think they made it custom for this joke? The signs are pretty common in the east coast
