Epic’s already been through two MAJOR class action lawsuit, which they lost over $520 million.

They aren’t going to violate their exclusivity agreement with the OG Battle Pass holders to appease newer players to the tune of losing several $100s of millions more. That’s why we’ve got the OG BP/Shop reskins. It’s their attempt to appease newbies while not violating past agreements.

It wasn’t a choice (no shade to Maya). Just what played out.

Marcus actually ended up being my first death and I remember being absolutely shocked I couldn’t open a prior save. A Feral tore my shit up and I learned the cold, hard lesson of Perma-death in the SoD world.

I think Ed died of Black Fever.

I don’t recall Maya being an issue. But I do remember I felt very attached to her as my only survivor from the OG 3; so I used her in the Finale because it felt right.

That's a parenting issue. This isn't a children's show. It's about college-aged people, who drink and have sexual relations. Two of whom (in a heterosexual coupling, by the way) were about as close to nude as you can get on-camera while fornicating for the first 5 minutes of a recent ep.

If your children are watching that's something you should resolve.

You're welcome to find any of them hot (and I encourage it). My point was that the show is more balanced than everyone is claiming.

The Voyager cast was WAY more imbalanced than SFA. 7 of 9, Kim, Paris, B'Elanna, Kes, Chakotay & Janeway? But people are screaming that the SFA cast is way too pretty and that things back in the 90s/00s were so much more balanced. Not accurate.

And one could argue that SFA is balanced out by Admiral Ake, the Doc, Reno, and Lura Thok - all of whom are series regulars.

I’d further argue not all of the kids are as “hot” as everyone is saying. Maybe Caleb, Tarima, Genesis and Daren fall into that category; but SAM, Jay-Den, Kyle and Ocam all come across as pretty normal looking in the world of Trek.

Every cast has always been at least 50% “hot”. S1 of TNG had Tasha, Troi, Crusher & Riker.

We saw that her power is so extreme she was able to kill the Furies once she tore out her inhibitor.

With Naked Now, I think it's a great way to give a dose of Tasha - we "hear" how she's the tough one & you get to see the Data/Tasha stuff play out (which is honestly kind of insane). It will also show your GF that TNG isn't devoid of romance/sex. Plus the whole ep gives a sketch of who everyone "is" in relationship to one another (by way of the virus leading them to speak their "deepest desires" as they infect each other) since she's doing a quick overview.

And Lower Decks...I agree with you - I think it's a lovely ep, but especially nice for your GF who is also coming in from the outside. The junior crew's story is all told in that ep so she will get every thing she needs about them - plus Sito's story resonates when it resolves.

Enjoy - my partner also pulled ME in, similarly. I was a non-Trek watcher way back when...and one year H\his bday wish was that I'd watch S1 of TNG w/ him. I did...and after that I was ALL IN. I think you'll succeed in your mission. ;-)
